1 /5 Abey Joseph: Shady and Unprofessional ā Avoid Zap Fitness
My wife and I both had a terrible experience with Zap Fitness. From the beginning, there was a complete lack of transparency. We were rushed through sign-up, asked to tick boxes and enter details, but never properly informed about contract terms or how payments would be handled. No one explained the commitment we were entering into or provided any clear documentation.
Only after attempting to pause or cancel the membership did we start getting vague, defensive responses. Suddenly, there are strict terms and āagreementsā we apparently consented toābut without any clear explanation or even a proper signature.
The whole setup feels incredibly shady and misleading. This is not how a professional fitness business should operate. At least other gyms weāve been with, like Fitness First, were upfront and clear from day one.
Weāll definitely be warning friends and family to stay away from Zap Fitness unless they enjoy surprises buried in the fine print and being treated like just another number.
