5 /5 Maria Ahm: Always walked past here to go Nextdoor but today we thought we would try this place out. Hidden in the corner of the outdoor dining area right next to sporting globe. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food was absolutely delicious!! Very generous portions. Salad had plenty of feta they didn’t hold back with that which I loved (if you’re a huge feta fan like myself) We got the Grilled Seafood and salad, Grilled Calamari and the Panko fish burger. Very flavourful the grilled seafood had a Mediterranean marinade which was so good! Overall enjoyed our experience and time here, plenty of seating available nice and open. Definitely a place to visit, we will be back for sure.

5 /5 Teana K: The food is great, best fish n chips in the area. I’ve had takeaway from here twice (ordered via their website to pickup) and its been ready when I requested it. It hasnt been greasy and the fish is a good size. The only negative is finding a park.

5 /5 Jimbo (Jimbo): I have to say, I wasnt really expecting much here, but as usual I dont assume, I let the taste buds do the talking. So lets get right to it. The Chips.... super hot, soft inside, soft crunch outside, and beautiful golden colour... perfect with the chicken salt! The flake fish..... golden batter, excellent crispy texture, perfectly cooked, not over or under cooked! Inside the clean white fleshy fillet is exactly what you want to see when you chew into it for that juicy flavour. The Blue Grenadier.... not an easy fish to get right, but you guys nailed that one too! Pretty much consist with the flake in terms of cook & texture, juicy, not overly crispy, just right! In terms of oily food, very minimal. Clean oil not old stuff. Price: on this day $12.50 flake $11 Blue Grenadier. $10 is usually the go for most local fish & chiperies. If they were big pieces, then the price would be right on. Brand new shop. Nice environment, very spacious with plenty of comfortable seating inside & out. Next to the sporting globe restaurant, werribee plaza. My personal review: Wow lads! Im impressed! This is a big thumbs up for a plaza fish & chipery, well done! Keep up the great work! Stay consistent lads! Do I recommend Hunky Dory Werribee? Hell yes!! Come & try it cuz! Mad fish & chips! They offer great meal deals too!

4 /5 Subramanya K: I recently visited Hunky Dory Fish & Chips at Pacific Werribee and had a fantastic experience! What stood out the most was how fresh and non-oily everything tasted — truly an old-school style of fish and chips that’s hard to find these days. We ordered the classic fish, which was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. The calamari rings were equally impressive: light, flavorful, and again, not oily. We also tried the fish bites, and they were absolutely delicious. Most items come with a generous serve of chips. Since we couldn’t finish everything, we asked for a takeaway box. They packed it neatly and covered it with aluminium foil, which kept the chips warm for later — a small but thoughtful touch. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit. In my opinion, its the best fish and chips spot in the area — fresh, tasty, and great value for money. Highly recommended!
