1 /5 beth burgoyne: I went to Exquisite Brows at 12.05 pm on Wednesday 2nd of April. I had to introduce myself to her. I asked Simin if I could have my Eyebrows, Upper Lip, Chin done. I was asked if I wanted Wax. I said Yes thankyou. I had wax put on my whole face and felt like my whole face was being ripped off when the girl removed the wax. She handed me a small mirror. I took one look in the mirror, and nearly fell off the chair in shock. I asked her why is my face so red??
My face was red raw all over.
I felt like a Lobster. It was burning and very tender to touch. The wax had actually peeled a layer of my skin off.
I was told it would go back to normal in 10 to 15 minutes. It is now 30 hours later and my face is still very red and very sore. I have been in a lot of pain since yesterday at lunchtime.
I emailed the owner of the business, but no response. I phoned Exquisite Brows and spoke to Simin with three different phone calls. She told me that she has to talk to her Manager and she will phone me back. She then hung up on me while I was still speaking to her. Two more phone calls, and she told me that the Manager said that I was to come down to show her my face.
I went into Exquisite Brows this afternoon, requesting a refund. I was told they dont give refunds. Simin spoke to the Manager on the phone, three separate times while I was there , in a different language, which is so rude. The Manager said to Simin that I will receive a $10 refund only. She asked me if I was happy, no Im not happy at all. Simin said to me after handing me my $10 refund, when you come back next time.....Next time?????
There will be No Next Time.
I will never go back to that business again.
