1 /5 Laura W: Booked over the phone and called to tell them I’d be a few minutes late. Same person I made the booking with answered and told me there was no booking in the system for me although I received a Fresha text confirming the appointment. After a few mins of back and forth she decided to fabricate a story that I had called up to cancel! I told her I would come in to show her my call history that that was not the case and this was their mistake. When in the salon she proceeded to tell me I cancelled on behalf of someone else and I told her that she was confusing me with someone else and that this is 100% her mistake. I organised for my newborn to be looked after so that I could attend this appointment. She had the worst attitude and did still did not accept accountability for the mistake and proceeded to scold me as if I had done something wrong to her. She told me to get out and guided me out the door. I had a voucher for this business for my birthday and I will be looking into consumer affairs to get reimbursed. Complete lack of accountability and customer service from this business. Truly disgusting behaviour.

Confirming owner was not accountable for the mistake whatsoever and there were no “good vibes” present from her side as she is trying to portray in her response, she never took accountability and talked to me like I was a daughter she was scolding as opposed to a customer. She told me there was no booking under my name initially to which I responded I had confirmation and had spoken to her over the phone etc. She then out of nowhere and under no uncertain terms told me that I cancelled. I told her this was not the case and then she repeatedly told me that I did cancel the booking. It was a no I didnt, yes you did, back and forth argument with me on the phone which was absurd. In response to repeatedly being told I cancelled the booking to cover up her mistake, and the fact that I had organised for my newborn to be looked after to attend, I was understandably upset and I was looking forward to being pampered. The owner was certainly not full of positivity or calm as she is trying to portray and never admitted fault or apologised for the inconvenience. Nor was she calm when she kicked me out of the store. It was only when I was in the store and showed her my call history that she told me that I cancelled on behalf of someone else and mentioned a random name so that it appeared that she was now confused instead of absolutely certain that I had cancelled, to further cover up her mistake instead of admitting fault and apologising. I am not one to leave google reviews but I was very much compelled to after being treated so terribly. The owner also tries to convey that my friend who bought the voucher is her client however she is in fact not a client (surprise, another lie) and has gone off google reviews in her decision to buy the voucher however I am unsure I believe their validity from my experience. I am glad to hear that she will reimburse the voucher as it is the right thing to do. Hopefully this review stops her from doing this again and she will take accountability going forward and perhaps hire admin staff to take care of the clerical side of the business to prevent these errors. Way to ruin someones day!
