1 /5 Kirsten Steel: Laughable. I have no words.
I didnt have time to go to my usual nail lady in Williamstown, so I thought whilst I was at Highpoint, Id get a pedicure (if youd call it that).
This was the process and results. I could have saved my money and done them better myself at home.
My nails werent tidied up properly, and dont even get me started on the polish. These were doomed from the start. Even I know this is not how you apply polish.
I had to ask the lady to treat my dry skin properly as she used the block for 8 seconds on each foot. She then took the blade out and tried removing skin from all different directions (I was mortified and glad she stopped).
I complained to another lady after I saw the final result and said, "Im not paying $40 for this."These are absolutely horrible and the worst pedicure I have ever received." She then called the manager ( I presume) over, and she asked if this was shellac. (The polish was that thick and tacky that the normal polish looked like shellac - say no more). She said, "I offer you a $5 discount." I laughed and said,"No, these results are appalling. " She offered to fix them (she could have checked on the young girl during my appointment instead of talking and socialising with her friends), but the damage was done, and I was already late picking up my husband, and to be honest, if I had the time, they werent going near my nails again. My valuable time had already been wasted, and I question their knowledge, experience, skill, and professionalism.
I said Ill pay you $20, and she said, "No." I said, "Youre lucky Im even paying $20 for these results and for wasting my time.
Even after 3 hours, with me trying to dry them with my car heater, these still did not dry evenly and properly.
