2 /5 Desiree Lucchese: I have been going to Jade Nails for several months. I have mostly been happy with the nails outcome, even though at first the quality was not right. I then found out a very experienced staff and stuck with her. I accepted the challenges with booking, the general lack of interest and care in good customer services as my intent to support local businesses, and understand others’ circumstances with empathy, takes precedence. So I thought. Upon my last visit, however, the nail specialist was particularly rough. She was very effective and precise but, unfortunately, she filed my flesh - to which she apologised - and the finger has been hurting since. It’s not a cut yet it hurts. This last visit made me reflect that rudeness and lack of care are not necessary, especially in a service business. The experience of going to a salon should be pleasant, calming, perhaps simple. I will not return to Jade and I’m already relieved the booking at the next nail salon was easy and welcoming.
