1 /5 Leila Melki: I normally do not like to leave negative reviews as I believe if you dont have anything nice to say, to not say anything at all. However I cant let this one slide and hope to save others from having a terrible experience here.
Do not go and get your hair done here. The owner of this place (i forgot her name) was lovely and accommodating on the phone when I made the booking for my mother in November 2024. I purchased the full hair deal of foils, cut and blow wave through Groupon and mentioned this on the phone to her to which she mentioned that there was availability to do my mothers hair the next day. We secured the appointment. However, she never took my details, and when I tried to call her back twice to give her my details to confirm, she never even returned my calls. We took our chances and went there the next day anyway.
When we got to her salon the next day, she lied to us and told us that her Groupon account wasnt working, and to pay her in cash instead. I told her how unprofessional and misleading her service was with this promotion as she had confirmed the day before she could take a Groupon booking. She pulled a sad face and sad tone to feel sorry for her, so we obliged. Very manipulative. My mother was in need of the cut and colour, and so we decided to go ahead with the service, not knowing how bad it was going to be. Not only that, she also stained my mothers top and jeans and damaged them unapologetically. And in addition to all this, didnt even offer her a cup of water or tea as most hair dressers do these days.
The Groupon voucher was about $50. She made my mother pay the full value of the deal at $150. She asked us to rebook with her to use the voucher in 2 months instead. She did a terrible job with my mothers hair. Butchered it and discoloured it. It was very clear she didnt know what she was doing. In between doing my mothers hair, she was attending to other peoples pedicures and manicures as she was a sole operator. She took over 3 hours to finish the job, which should have only taken 2 hours.
My mother is currently getting her hair cut, TREATED to repair the damage done by K & S coloured and blow waved and even this amazing hair dresser is shocked at the state her hair is in because of her last appointment with K & S.
I do NOT recommend booking with her! Terrible service. Terrible job. I wouldnt even go there if it was the only place available.
