3 /5 Carl Brewer: YMMB is a run down, tatty aerodrome that needs to be moved away from its proximity to residential encroachment and built from scratch.

1 /5 House Auction: Built way too close to residential areas. Although Dingley used to be a rural town with a meek population, that is not the case anymore and an airport of this size (and this many planes flying overhead residentials every minute) is simply unacceptable.

1 /5 N C: It’s completely unacceptable and Absolutely disgusting! Its ANZAC day! Moorabbin Airport has disrupted and disrespected ANZAC day. For many Australians, ANZAC Day is a time of solemn remembrance, and the sound of aircraft flying overhead during that reflection can feel jarring or even offensive, especially if it seems tied to commercial interests or foreign entities (communist Chinese pilots) Moorabbin Airport has been the subject of local concerns for years, especially around noise, flight paths, and its growing role in training international pilots. It can absolutely feel like there’s a lack of respect when those operations dont pause or adapt on a national day of remembrance.
