1 /5 Laura: Im not usually one to leave a bad review, unless I really feel like I need too... but Ill be honest.
I came in and asked for a nail art design I had in mind, SNS nails (second photo, from Pinterest).
My nails were shaped and filed down, as I wanted them to be. But later realised noticed my nail lengths dont match up in length, especially with the same fingers on my other hand.
I wanted a iridescent effect on the colour. I feel they dont match the inspiration photo. Theres also I lot of yellow on my nails, in comparison...
The inspiration photo was predominantly silver chrome, were as my nails are not; they look like rainbow nails. Also, the thumb inspo doesnt match the inspiration photo at all, nor does the chrome nail art match the inspiration photo.
I feel the techniques they used to add the Chrome wasnt the best technique/bad way of getting mh inspiration nail results. The Chrome looks textured and not smoothe.
During the session I had to ask for "more chrome", as they tried to finish my nails looking very minimal with Chrome, they then added more. I still think theyre very minimal with Chrome. Towards the end, I spoke up and tried asking about the thumb Chrome nail art, but the nail tech walked away while I was asking and finished the session.
Ive noticed a photo on this Nail Shops Googlemaps advert, that looks like another version of my inspiration photo. Im now not believing this is actually a photograph from their store. As I dont believe my nail art was achievable by the nail tech to begin with. I would of just asked for a colour if my design was past their compacities.
I am disappointed and embarrassed with my nails and the result. They had a chip 5 days after, also. I paid $75.
Poor customer service from the lady who did my nails. My friend had the same experience with hers. They asked little questions and little care and interest in helping us achieve our nails and felt we were ignored and neglected during service.
