Su-Anne Foo Visited Berry Reserve 2 weeks ago and it was a lovely place. There is a proper footpath that is great for strollers, scooters and bikes and for the little ones to toddling about. 2 playgrounds for older kids to chill out and some cafes to enjoy the view of the lake. There are also benches, seating tables for picnics, and definitely a great place to see ducks and fishes in the lake. I highly recommend this place as an outing for young kids and senior citizens.

Mark Titley One of the best playgrounds & reserves in the northern beaches. Beautiful walk by the lake ideal for kids, bikes etc. The Tramshed cafe is also perfect for a coffee or brekkie/lunch and kids love the tram.

Mia P Very well kept nice area that hosts some events like markets that address held once a month. Large basketball court and huge playground for the kids. Friendly ducks around but please dont feed them unless its specific duck food like seeds or grains. Otherwise the ducks get very sick. Dont feed them bread ever!

Desiree Hough Despite its humble appearances the dumplings are wonderful. Hand made in front of you in traditional style, their big plate of dumplings are delicious! And very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go over again for more.

Andreas Ludwig Nice lake shore and walkway. Also plastered with signs that dogs are not allowed (why not?) - but then again it is a doggy highway. So we followed the crowd. When we cam, it was not serene, but rather super busy. And the walk is stretching without an obvious goal or highlight. But maybe we gave up too early...

Jane Rich As a pre-polling venue, it was very busy but I was able to find a disabled parking spot. Plenty of parking for a normal day. I will return.
5 /5
Sergio Valenta One of my favourite locations on the northern beaches good amenities plenty of parking and a new boat ramp, great spot to take the kayak out for a fish

Gary B Great place to start a walk around the lagoon. It took us 3 hours to do the loop including stopping for a causal coffee. Fairly flat so its an easy walk.
5 /5
Reza Rafiee Nice place for riding bike or kayak. Good for dog walking and running. The lake is quiet and very nice for kayaking or SUP. There are car parks with 12h paid tickets. Couple of benches available for taking a break and having some snacks.

余心 This lake is perfect for beginners to go boating, whether its in an inflatable boat, kayak, or small yacht. There are barbecue grills and restrooms along the shore. The restrooms are equipped with showers, but it seems that only cold water is available. There are signs reminding people to wear life jackets while boating and to refrain from drinking alcohol. Although I didnt see anyone pitching tents here, there were no signs prohibiting camping, so it should be allowed. For those with good physical fitness, you can start from here and paddle all the way to the mouth of the sea. The beach at the mouth of the sea is also very beautiful.

Gina Carter 5 Stars for the walk 1 star for the huge red belly black snake

Andreas Ludwig Probably a nice trail. Unfortunately, we did not anticipate that dogs would be banned to enter - and we came with our dog, specifically because it is not a National Park. The area around the parking lot can only give a little glimpse of what you can see... Too bad.

Chris Howell Another nice quiet park , lots of bike tracks and the waterfall was graceful after rain.

Mateusz Bernacki A Hidden Gem for Paddleboarding and Kayaking (BYO Equipment) Deep Creek, located next to Narrabeen on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, is an incredible spot for paddleboarding and kayaking—especially if you’re looking for a peaceful escape into nature. The calm, sheltered waters make it an ideal location for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Since it’s a quieter part of Narrabeen Lagoon, you won’t have to worry about heavy boat traffic, making it a safe and relaxing place to explore. One of the best things about Deep Creek is its beautiful natural surroundings. As you paddle, you’ll often see plenty of birdlife, including pelicans and herons, and if you’re lucky, you might spot fish jumping out of the water. The area is especially stunning in the early morning or late afternoon when the light reflects beautifully off the water. However, it’s important to note that there are no rental facilities here, so you’ll need to bring your own paddleboard or kayak. The water quality is generally good, though it’s best to visit after a period of dry weather to avoid any runoff affecting the creek. There’s easy access with a grassy area near the water, making it convenient to launch your board or kayak. Parking is generally available nearby, and the spot is usually quiet, adding to its charm. If you have your own gear and want a tranquil paddling experience away from the crowds, Deep Creek is absolutely worth visiting. It’s a fantastic hidden gem for nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts alike!

Adam Jacob Pros: A nice park, with a terrific bike/run/walk circuit around the lagoon Great water views BBQ and toilet facilities A good spot to launch a kayak, canoe or SUP Parking close to the water Cons: Parking costs $10 hr! Wakehurst Parkway is haunted 3 stars only because of the parking charges. Id give it 5 stars if the parking was half the current rate.

Y Q This was my first visit to the area, and its a beautiful place to spend quality time with your family. Its located right in front of the lake, offering an amazing view of the sun and the surroundings. Kids can have a great time playing in the park, and you have the option to bring your own food and have a barbecue there. The place is wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Additionally, theres a bike track and the opportunity for an approximately 8-kilometer walk.

Teresa Toca Visit Viva Tropica Acai when you get there its so yummy.
5 /5
Shanahan Matthew (Matt) A decent kids playground located alongside Narrabeen Lake and the bicycle track. There are also some picnic tables where you can sit. There is a shaded, fenced area with some equipment for the younger kids, and some climbing ropes and other equipment outside for the older kids. There are some pretty cool rock carvings, too. There is good parking available of up to 12 hours in the carpark, which is paid or free for Northern Beaches resident parking permit holders. There are a few public toilets available next to the carpark, but they were grotty when we were there, albeit during the Christmas break.
4 /5
Haley Flanagan Beautiful, 8km walk. Good for biking, not for skating. Parking was $25 for 3 hours so park in residential areas if possible. Only two toilets on the circuit so be strategic.

JB Jose Very short through walk from one end of Warriewood wetlands to the other. Reasonably maintained path and bridges. Really good for kids. We went after torrential rain hoping to see a bigger waterfall. It was still very much passable and the waterfall pool was definitely much larger.
5 /5
Lynne C McIntyre A beautiful location. My mother always talked about going there as a child in the 1930’s. I decided I wanted to see what it is like. I am so glad I visited.
5 /5
Sabrina Symonds Lovely spot, easy walk in to the bottom of the waterfall. Highly recommend following the trail and going up above it youre stopping for a rest; plenty of flat rocky platforms to sit on rather than the sand at the bottom.

Julie Anne Longano Great little nook for kids. Not much of a walk but feels worlds away and in the words of my 7 year old daughter “I’m more than impressed!” Bring aeroguard.

Edison Liang Great great place for BBQ, picnic or playing around. Good environment for families, plenty of car parking spaces.

Keith Hong One of the many hidden gems in North beaches. The new loop is set up beautifully. Start from the carpark for a nice 7km loop. The parking fee however is rather significant and I would rather park couple hundred metres out and start the walk. I suggest getting there early so to escape the local cyclists. VERY different from the bay.
4 /5
Scott Walker Lots of free gas plate BBQ Tables a bit far from BBQ
5 /5
Nadene Greyling This is my local park, we are here often. It is a great spot for a picnic, a paddle on the lake, or a lovely flat walk, run or cycle around the lake. There are adequate bbq facilities and toilets, but there could be more. Plenty of ticketed parking, free parking if you have the Northern beaches parking permit. There are plenty of flat grassy areas and there is a lot of shade. If you have a furry family member, dogs on lead are welcome. Plan ahead, it gets busy.
4 /5
R Peta Place is really cool. Easy access to the lagoon . Plenty of trees for shade . Council parking rates a bit though $10 per hr or $40 for the day Not much street parking outside the park.
4 /5
sabi shah Such a cool place for kayaking, swimming and all types of fun you expect including Bushwalking, Jogging, Cycling, Kayaking, Sailing, Windsurfing, Fishing, Small motorised boats ...Although the reserve is mostly bushland, there are open spaces suitable for picnics and passive recreation. The park is on the route of the Narrabeen Lagoon Multi-use Trail. POOR PARKING SPACE.
