Patrick Ryan This is classic Sydney foreshore infrastructure. A high quality gem that is totally unexpected. There is a beautiful raised walk around the mangroves that kids and dogs alike will enjoy and it’s nicely maintained. In most other countries, walks like this are blocked off as private land, but this is a wonderful hidden space that anyone can enjoy. There is even a small labyrinth under a massive old Fig tree that someone with private land has had the good nature to share.
5 /5
Liv Nix Beautiful walk with lots of different types of trees. Great for kids as when the tide is going out you can spot heaps of little busy crabs and different small fish at the waters edge.
4 /5
Shakun Kanan Calm and serene, whenever I come here for my walk.

Tanya Vanderkooi I enjoyed walking around here today the park has a play area for the kids, benches, book library along the nature walkway.

Amir Shay Very well rehabilitated and maintained reserve in the area.

Sandra Guy Great place to see a daytime camp of magnificent grey-headed flying-foxes, or fruit bats, in the warmer months. This is the largest fruit bat in Australia with a wing span of up to one metre. The camp is usually occupied between about September or October thru to May, depending on temperatures. Their numbers are falling significantly so this species is listed as vulnerable to extinction. They are a keystone umbrella species, performing an essential, nocturnal pollination role that no other species provides. If we lose these guys, there will be a cascade of extinction as many thousands of other species need the native forest tree species these guys pollinate and keep healthy.

Liv Nix This is such a lovely spot. Main reason I discovered it is its off leash so I could go with my dog. Really pretty area with a lovely walk. There is a giant tree that has roots hanging from it so my kids always stop for a swing. There is a swing in the on- leash area too and since picnic tables

5.Parramatta River Regional Park

Address: 546J+3Q, Gladesville NSW 2111

Imges Parramatta River Regional Park

(35) Reviews Parramatta River Regional Park:

Chan Cholan The oval is hardly playable as the ball just doesnt travel with the thick grass cover.. Its almost like trying to get the ball moving on a sponge surface.. And the toilet there is hardly maintained. Only up side is the view of the river. Everything else, pretty disappointing!
2 /5
James Rickards A peaceful park , historical value with signage about the bldgs on site and the convict roads . A walk along the beaches gives you an idea of how the aboriginal inhabitants would have enjoyed the cover afforded by overhangs and abundant fishing. Well worth a visit.. Spot the Turkish bath and the "folly".
4 /5
Heidi G Great park with beautiful walking tracks and views
5 /5
Sohaib Ahmed The ground is good to play at. Downside is the parking which is a fair bit from the field if entering from Campbell St. Theres no fence on the water side so ball ends up going to the water or the bushes quite often which can be a pain

Raf A Parramatta River Regional Park was created in May 2001. It covers an area of 4.6ha. For detailed park and fire management documents, visit the OEH website. Imges Peel Park

(103) Reviews Peel Park:

Prakash Radhakrishnan My kid loved this park. This is probably the most lively park I have seen in this area. A good number of kids were playing and equal number of dogs were running around in the football pitch. The facilities were good.
5 /5
Altaf Hussain Nice playground for kids. Usually booked for soccer matches over the weekends. Equipped with some swings, toilets and canteen. Plenty of street parking available .
5 /5
James Armstead Peel Park! It may not be on the water and it is only marginally close to useful facilities but it does what it says on the tin - good for sports, a moderately brisk stroll around the perimeter or hanging out with cockatoos. If you are coming for the peel, dont bother though, someone already put it in the bin.
