Melissa Finn Mina is a delightful person and a wonderful hairdresser who takes great care with her work to make you feel amazing. She was a hairdresser at a local shopping centre, but has now started her own business - I’ve been going to her since she opened her new shop and I love her energy and expertise with all things to do with hair. Today I took my teenage daughter to have her hair coloured and she absolutely loved it! Thank you Mina for being so accommodating and always making us feel great. The ”keratin treatment“ suited me well and made my damaged hair so shiny, it’s been lasting for 4months. It fits my own styling the way I want it. Priscilla Tang Amazing First Visit – Exceptional Service! Had my first visit to this salon, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the impeccable service from Christine and her team. From the warm welcome to the little thoughtful touches—like offering a cushion, coffee, and snacks—they made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Unlike other salons where I’d just be told to wait, I was attended to immediately with a hair wash and help with my bag and coat. I signed up for the Shiseido permanent hair straightening, which took five hours, and I was truly impressed by Christine’s expertise. You can instantly tell the difference when she works with scissors—her precision and attention to detail are exceptional. If something isn’t perfect, she’ll redo it without hesitation. The team even stayed late to ensure everything was done properly, and the results were absolutely worth it. I’m beyond happy with my hair and have finally found my go-to salon in Sydney. Valkyriess Starlight The hairstyling here is phenomenal. They do practically everything and its better priced than most places. I just had my hair done by Christine and I LOVE it. Its the perfect length, super manageable and looks amazing. Service is 10/10. Everyone is helpful and nice.

Wow, every hairdresser there does an amazing job, but a special shout out to Jay, who has been my go to since I started. She does amazing foils and colours, ghd curls, offers advice and works with me to achieve what suits me best. She always takes care to ensure she looks after your hair throughout the whole process. I always walk out feeling like a million dollars! I highly recommend Atelier Hair by C salon for any of your hair needs.

Tom Emeleus Garo does a great job at a good price. Ive been going here for 25 years, Angelo was awesome and when he retired and sold the shop to Garo, the standard continued.

Joshua Mosley Worst barber I have ever got my haircut by. He just completely rushes the job. You ask for a skin fade and he gives you a 0 fade without a blend. No care or pride in his work, you walk in the door and the next 10 minutes you are out the door. The haircuts may be cheap but now it’s understandable why… Go to this barber If you want a butcher cutting your hair, worst haircut I’ve ever received and I thought my Mums cuts were bad when I was a kid… 0 stars from me

Monica AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Kelly is very informed and clearly very experienced with hair. Shes able to work with my vague instructions (because I dont know what I want) and makes it into a masterpiece! Shes super friendly and has amazing customer service! Her prices are also very reasonable for the level of service youre getting! Her salon is super cute and always stays very clean. She also doesnt overbook so youre getting a good level of customer service you would expect during your timeslot. Cant recommend her enough!!! REBECCA Parker Zeinab and Mobina are both very friendly, talented and professional. Zeinab does my brows perfectly every time and is never in a rush. She also just cut my hair for the first time and Im so happy with it. She really listened to what I wanted but also gave me her advice on what would look the best. I had a facial from Mobina. It was so relaxing and my skin looked so hydrated afterwards. Most importantly, she knows how to treat sensitive, dry skin like mine. I highly recommend both of them!

Jorge Andres Hernandez Aillon Although the guy knows how to cut hair, he did not understand my instruction that I wanted a "blowout" fade, a word that I believe is well recognized in the barbering world, so I try to explain that the haircut that I want is "compressed" like 0,1,2,3 in a small space, but it doesnt work maybe because English is not my first language and my explanation was bad. It was my mistake not to have a photo at the time of what I wanted, but at least, in another barbershop, when I said "mid fade blowout" they understood me perfectly and did what I expected. I didnt like the result, in addition to the fact that on the right side there was a missing level to delete, so the fade was not "harmonious", the haircut was missing a review at the end to know that everything is fine. I recommend to bring a photo of what you want, a recommendation from the barber would also be good given that the shape of the head and face greatly influence the final result, so, in my case, the oval was intensified from my head and now it looks like an egg. I attach photos, unfortunately in person it is much more noticeable.

Adam Musgrave A loyal local who can’t speak highly enough about the quality of service provided at this barber’s shop. They are always friendly and attentive and listen carefully and make suggestions as well about possible new hairstyles to try (even for an old bloke like myself). Yesterday I had my haircut by a new starter Andrew who gave me a top notch haircut and beard trim. In the salon, Sargis the owner has some amazing photos of him with a very young Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez and Mike Tyson and other celebs. Do yourself a favour and pay this place a visit, you won be disappointed!!

Shay Not a good experience. With 2 months worth of hair, my haircut was over in 5 minutes. Every instruction or detail I asked for was ignored, or in fact, the barber began to make his own suggestions about what should be done with my hair. Clearly had other ideas and cut my hair so much shorter than it should be so now it can’t be styled the way I wanted. I had to double check we were done because it was over so quick. It was only when I actually touched my hair I realised chunks had been removed. Can’t recommend.

She is easy to talk to and gives helpful advice regarding haircare at home. She gives excellent hair cuts for my whole family! Reasonably priced as well. Kast I’ve been going to JS hair for many years and even thought I live in green square I have no problem travelling an hour to go get a haircut every couple weeks. It is always clean, with fast service and best nicest staff. I recommend so much !!!

Youn Ja Meng It is worth travelling to West Ryde from Lindfield even though its a long way and often subject to traffic jams. I knew Mr. Lee (the owner of JS Hair) over 20 years ago but kept losing his contact whenever he changed his workplace. When I was talking to my acquaintance about the difficulties of finding a good hairdresser, she suggested I go to JS Hair. I was very surprised to meet Mr. Lee there, whom I had been struggling to find. I no longer need to look for him since he owns the shop. He may not be the kindest person but the best hair stylist!:) Thanks, Mr. Lee!
