Sam I got my half leg and underarms waxed from here. The leg was almost painless. The underarms were a little more painful because of my growth but she took great care and made me feel comfortable. I regularly get facials and laser treatments, particularly the Picoway, which has done wonders for my skin. I’ve seen visible improvements since starting, and it’s definitely my favourite treatment. When I first started, I struggled with acne-prone skin for 15 years, but thanks to Sophia’s expert advice and tailored skincare guidance, my skin is now in the best condition. She’s always been incredibly honest and practical with her advice, and I’ve really appreciated her approach. What I love is that there’s never any pressure to purchase products/packages – they simply offer genuine recommendations, for some products they recommend you could find them in chemist and it’s entirely up to you whether to follow through with them. The only minor issue I’ve had is occasionally feeling like one frequency might be missed during my Picoway sessions that they should be using 3 types of frequencies but sometimes they might have only used 2. But overall, I’m very happy with the results and the service.

She posts numerous photos of beauty treatments and lip work on her Facebook page to attract clients. However, these photos are stolen from other beauty salons and do not represent her actual work. I was deceived by these photos myself. On July 31, I paid $775 for eyebrow and lip tattoos, and the outcome was disastrous. My eyebrows were ruined, looking unpleasant, and my lips turned dark purple, becoming extremely dry and peeling. I did not seek compensation or a refund; my intention is to warn others to avoid falling victim to this scam. I previously left comments on her Facebook page about my experience, but she deleted all my reviews and blocked me to prevent others from learning about her fraudulent practices. Her "workspace" is a cramped area on the balcony of a two-bedroom apartment, lacking proper sanitation equipment, with her family working nearby in the living room. This was a nightmarish experience and left me deeply disappointed. Please review the photos of my eyebrows and lips and you will understand why its crucial to avoid her services. Her skills are severely inadequate.

C D I developed a painful toe infection days after my pedicure at this salon. When I returned seeking a refund, my experience went from bad to worse. Despite repeatedly telling the staff not to pop my infected toe as I wanted to see a doctor, she ignored my requests and proceeded to pop the puss against my wishes. She dismissed my concerns, claiming its just an ingrown toenail that will heal in a few days and that I didnt need a doctor. The pain became unbearable in the following days. My doctor confirmed it was actually a bacterial infection requiring antibiotics - not caused from an ingrown toenail as the salon claimed. Ive now spent more on medical care than the actual pedicure. This salon not only has concerning hygiene standards that led to the infection, but their staff completely disregarded my clear requests about what should be done to my own body. I would not recommend this place.

Lara Kocsis So um probably wouldn’t go back. I now have these scabs under my eyebrows and have done for almost a week after getting my brows waxed. I use retinol nightly for my skin and was unaware that you are supposed to stop use if you want to get a wax. While this is partially my fault I do think that it’s something a salon that specialises in brows should be aware of and should be asking their customers about before proceeding with their services.

Alexjandra Hayden-Moraes Disappointing experience today 22/11 at 1pm. I have been going to Anjali for the past 2 years as I find they individualise each service to their customers. Today there was 2 ladies getting her eyebrows done and I was the only one waiting (about 10 minutes). As 1 of the ladies finished up, another walked in (wanting to get her whole face threaded, including eyebrows done) and they sat her right down infront of me and started servicing her. I then asked if i’m supposed to wait and they replied with yes or just leave. Terrible response from the girl with the crooked teeth and would be good to have a manager on duty to deal with these issues.

Mia I used to come to this place alot but probably won’t be returning after a bad experience yesterday. I just asked for my eyebrows to be tidied up, not reshaped (they were already symmetrical before I walked in), however, the girl made them noticeably uneven and thinner on one side. I understand mistakes happen, but she didn’t even say anything about it and I only realised after I left. My eyebrows were perfectly fine before and I wish I hadn’t gotten them done now.

N N I received a pamper facial voucher as a gift from this salon, the product push before, during and after the treatment put me off. I was there to enjoy a relaxing pamper treatment, Not shop for skin products. Also the therapist was excessively conversational; asking about my kids, husband, best decade in my life etc while I wanted quiet time to relax and had a hot towel on my face and couldn’t reply easily.

Lisa Caroline Sin This shop is one of the worst I have been to. Their facial treatments and service are subpar. The beauty therapist I got does not wash her hands prior to my facial treatment and she will test the equipment on her hand before using it on my face (mind you, I got micro done, and it’s a treatment that pierces the skin, so utmost level hygiene is the basic requirement before doing such procedures). Their facial treatments broke and damaged my skin barrier which has taken me a year at least to fix. They will promise they can fix your skin concern and also pressurise you to buy their packages which expires and they won’t extend the usage time. Best part is when you try to walk in or call to book, there is no one to answer. Their online booking system is useless; it does not allow you to use the credit you have already purchased to make a booking; you have to pay and get refunded later. I lost so much by trusting this place. Absolute scam. Save your time, money and skin; go to a proper skin clinic !! They are not worth anybody’s time and effort.

The customer service was poor—nail technicians were talking in another language during the appointment, which felt unprofessional. Salwa Benmaarouf All staff in this shop is amateur! They don’t know what they are doing. I just came back from Bali and they did an amazing job. This guys stay away from them, to be honest all nail shops inside Macquarie shopping centre are very bad. I have been living in Macquarie since 2016 and I travel far away to get my nails done. See my photos attached. Not shaped well, polish has been applied badly, the whole thing is awful.

nazanin amini My sister visited this salon and had an awful experience. The man doing her nails was rude and impatient, making her feel really uncomfortable. At one point, he even said “make up your mind and choose your color” in a very abrupt tone – totally unprofessional. The nails were poorly shaped, and the color was wrong, but she didn’t feel comfortable speaking up after how he treated her. The manicure was also rough and careless – her skin around the nails was left red, thin, and painful for days. It looked inflamed and felt sore. The photo attached was taken just a day after the nails were done – which speaks for itself. Definitely not worth the time or money. These franchise salons seriously need to improve their service and attitude. We won’t be returning.

Lina Bui I’ve tried several places in the north shore but this is my go-to that I keep returning to. The quality is consistently of a high quality. I’ve never had an issue with my nails. $40 for a mani and shellac that is done in 30-40 minutes, it’s reliable and affordable.

Yolanda Schmidt I have been coming to professionNAIL in Macquarie shopping centre for more than 6 years. I have intermittently, tried other places, however no place compares to them, even other professioNAILS. I have Fancy nail art done on my nails every festive season and without fail. They have outdone themselves. The manager is always amazing at ensuring Im taken care of and Im not just another number. The staff are always friendly. The place is clean. You are offered water upon arrival and there is a loyalty card which provides a discount after 5 visits, considering I spend a lot of time there. This is valuable. The nails itself, I acrylic overlay on my natural nails now. Previously I used to Shellac but I prefer acrylic as Im quite boisterous with my nails. I now only do my nails every 8 weeks, this is a testament to the quality of work received as my nails can last that long which therefore Links to value for money. My nails are the green design and my friend had the white ombre design done on who nails and both of them came out beautifully. We are happy customers and will certainly continue to come back. Rebecca Lahanas Honestly so surprised this salon has an average of 3 stars?! I think people tend to write about the negatives and dont take the time to review the positives. The team here are so super attentive and gentle with their work. I’m pretty picky with how I like my nails done, and when I get acrylics done, they make sure it’s thin and as natural looking like I ask. They are super clean and their customer service is fantastic, I’m always greeted with a smile, helped with my bags and offered complimentary water. They really deserve 5 stars and I’m not sure why they don’t have it! Disregard the star count and next time you’re at Macq, try them. You won’t be disappointed.

Laura Cir Today was the first time I tried this shop and I have to say I was very happy with the work they did on my nails,. When I arrived my nails were absolutely disgusting, when they were finished, they were wonderful, and even though the store was crowded, I didnt wait. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I dont understand why I found so many negative reviews. I will definitely return and recommend it.. I confirm, 2 time I went and I love my nails

Maria Ahio Went in for a manicure with SNS on Saturday. Was a rushed job, left with colour all over my cuticles, also cut my finger, started bleeding, didn’t care and didn’t even attempt to clean. Then SNS started falling off on Monday, now Wednesday, all fallen off. Didn’t even last a week, Not worth the $55.
