Alysha Winn Went and got teeth whitening and a lash lift yesterday and oh my god, the results were insane! I feel like my teeth have never been this white before, ever! I had zero sensitivity and Jackie made the whole experience so easy. As for the lash lift, I am in love! I’ve gone to several places before and never have I gotten one like this, my lashes are curled up the longest I’ve ever seen them. You can really tell she takes pride in her work as she never rushes and makes sure everything is perfect. Not to mention, the space is just as perfect; such a vibe and super comfortable! Bronte Wells I had a lash lift and tint done at The Glow Lounge and would highly recommend! The salon is gorgeous and Jackie the beauty therapist is very informative, lovely to chat to and made the experience super enjoyable. I’m so happy with the results and will definitely be going back!

Pu I’m so happy—I just found a really good nail salon that does both manicures and pedicures! I’ve tried places in Macquarie, Victoria Cross, and Chatswood before, but they often made my fingers bleed. This new place really impressed me. Tammy helped me pick the perfect color after just a short chat, and the gel was applied super thin and comfortable—exactly how I like it. I was actually quite scared to get my nails done again because I had filed them really short myself and didn’t plan to do them anymore. But they even shaped my nails beautifully. I’ll definitely go back next time. Thank you so much!

Tasha M Shellac manicure and normal pedicure. Excellent thank you. Both the polish on my finger nails and toe nails have not chipped at all after 4 weeks (see second photo). The nails and cuticles were very neat. Place is very clean too. I cut my finger nails as they had grown too long and the shellac didn’t budge so I could keep it longer.

I Lashes are expertly applied the application is flawless and my lashes have lasted 6 weeks! The joy of not having to wear mascara and wake up looking fabulous is an amazing start to my day! Nestley is so passionate about her profession which of course results in fantastic service. So many lash styles to choose from and Nestley is great in recommending exactly what will suit you. I dont know why I didnt try lashes sooner and when I have gone back for refills I love having the option to change up my look. Lashtastique truly made me feel fantastic and I would highly recommend seeing Nestley if you too want to feel fab ❤️

Natalie Millar Nestley was so lovely upon arrival and it was clear she knew what she was doing. I was unsure with the desired effect I wanted since I was transitioning from a classic set to a volume, so Nestley recommended what would go with my existing lashes and suit my eye shape. I went for a wispy look and absolutely loved it, prior to getting it done I was hesitant about having something so dramatic but it was just right! Also, Nestley was so thorough she really took care in maintaining the health of my natural lashes and even now after 4 weeks the lash retention is great and my natural lashes do not seem to be damaged. So grateful as this was my second ever lash extension experience and I am overall really happy.

Patti Boyd Amazing service, Nestley was very kind and ensured that I received exactly what I wanted. I have been to two other eyelash extension specialists and nothing compares to Nestley work! The eyelashes look so luxurious and are very sturdy. She made sure to give me something that suited my eye shape, taking extra care every step of the way. Ma Na I paid $430 to Irada for an ugly colour and haircut last week. I hope I could upload the pictures of my new hair here so everyone could see what she has done!! She charges you for the assistants that helping her to video things on her social media account. All she has to tell you about herself that her husband is a professor as if who cares ! You as a hair dresser didnt put cream on my forhead before putting the ugly dark colour on me and I left the store with tinted skin. You failed to clean the hair around my neck after finishing the cut. Your focus is your instagram page ! You will not enjoy the money I paid you for disgusting job! Karma

Elle S Last edit: the raw skin is healed now after 2 months as attached with only under skin raw veins left to be seen. Hopefully the veiny look on my skin will subside eventually. I have however since been using the rest of my package with Penny who is really meticulous and careful with my skin. Whilst the first impression of the clinic was not great for me, Penny has helped redeem it for me. Thanks Penny. I was a long time customer of Babyface in the city back in 2018-2021. However as I moved away from the city, I havent been back since and had a few packages to use (that didnt expire as I bought it during covid). I finally went for a visit yesterday to their new store in north ryde yesterday as it is closer to my home now, to use my existing package and ended up with a burn on my nose. During the use of the skin management instrument, when they were putting ampoule into my skin, there was a brief moment where the device felt really hot on my skin on my tzone, feeling like a scalding sensation. I thought these devices get warm and thought it could be normal as my nose was extracted heavily prior to the device being rolled on my face, as those extracted parts were exposed. As it was a short few seconds, and it went back to warm quickly, I didnt think too much of it. However at the end of my treatment, the beautician told me there was a huge peel on my face. I thought it could be normal as it didnt feel exceptionally pain, and as I was in a rush to leave for my work meeting, I didnt look in the mirror and left quickly. When I got to my car and took my meeting, I decided to have a quick look and saw this huge peel raw skin on my face. Please see before treatment (no injury, no sunburn - and if there was, the beautician should have called it out) and after treatment photo attached (edit: I have removed photos at request). I have reached out to Babyface and they told me usually the device should not get warm or hot, so that got me really worried as it was supposed to not be normal. They told me not to worry and just put on recovery creams as much as possible. I wished they would have provided it to me as I left the clinic as they could see what was on my face and I did not without a mirror. Anyway, I will be refraining from washing my face for the next few days. I am away on a trip now but have decided to stay in the house instead of going out to ensure this wound would not scar, which is quite sad as I had plans on my trip. I will update my result in a few days. Update after 2 weeks: the broken skin has recovered after going in 3 times to heal with the recovery yellow light. After speaking to the staff, they understood my concerns and did their best to help the recovery due to what happened from the treatment I did. The skin is still slightly red but definitely looks like it wont scar anymore which is good. Whilst it worked out and recovered, the emotional trauma it left me was scary, as I had many sleepless nights and started breaking out a little due to stress and despite the skin looking like okay now, I would not like to experience this ever again as walking around with raw skin was less than ideal, especially when it wasnt a like a plastic surgery that will make me prettier than before. Definitely a lesson learnt for me to ensure I let the staff know everything I know about my skin. I did not this time here because I thought the clinic had the history of my skin from the city clinic. Nonetheless, happy that the clinic took responsibility for the issue and did their best to rectify it.

Laura Mulcahy The team here are always amazing. My stylist gave me exactly the cut I was after, and was really supportive with me along the way. The services are very well priced too and it is always a lovely experience coming here.

Mojgan Shafiee I paid for $380, for tint and foil of full head. LINDA damaged my hair and left me with multicolor hair. Some parts red, some parts orange nd some parts yellow... She didnt even dry my hair or didnt let me to check the back parts. After lots of phone calls Janet fixed my hair but there was no choice to fix except to make it really dark as it was multicolor. After complaining about this result Catherine(the owner) told me that people pretend to be not satisfied to get the refund. Finally because of the big mess on my head she offered me to redo my hair in 3 months as it was damaged. After three months Catherine called me and said she wont do my hair unless I remove my review in google. I had to remove my review as I wanted her to fix my hair. This time Janet fixed my hair but she did half head not full head and Cath didnt accept to pay the remaining refund. Be very careful with Catherine , She doesnt think about customer satisfaction she just thinks about the payment.

Clarinda is amazing. She is my colourist and I have total faith in her knowledge and suggestions for my hair, I love my eyebrow and eyelash tint too! Marie Santos I came to the Macquarie Centre branch without an appointment and was accommodated immediately to get brow lamination, lashlift and tinting. I highly recommend Sabina! She is so skilled and did a transformational job on my brows and lashes :) She is professional, very friendly, accommodating and respectful. I will definitely be coming back to book future appointments with Sabina- it was a 5 star experience.

India-rose de Caires Left with uneven eyebrows. I asked for a simple clean up and my eyebrow shape was completely changed on one side where I had to redirect for the other eyebrow. No compensation was given after I expressed my dissatisfaction.

ginger wolterswood I am always picky with my eyebrows and end up changing eyebrow places so often. I have been to iBrows experts in Macquarie Park for over a year now consistently. Any one of the amazingly friendly staff will do an amazing job and I always trust them. I have never walked away hating my eyebrows!! The pricing is so affordable and the staff are so sweet. I recommend them to everyone

ellie Appalled at the quality of service I received. When I got there, I was directed to sit down and then she immediately started threading my brows with no consultation or mapping. She didn’t take any safety or hygiene measures before threading my brows with a thread she’d been chewing beforehand. My eyebrows turned out uneven, and I developed a rash under my eyebrow afterwards due to the lack of sanitisation. You’re better off going elsewhere!

Elena Masoumi I’m very happy with the service provided by the clinicians—professional and caring. However, the clinic has been extremely difficult to contact for bookings. I visited in person and waited for around 15 minutes, but there was no one at the front desk, so I had to leave. Ive also tried calling multiple times with no response. It’s quite frustrating and makes it hard to access the care I need. I hope the management can improve communication and front desk availability—it would make a big difference for patients.

Caitlyn Maree I have just moved from Queensland and regularly got LED and skin treatments so naturally I have commenced my search down in NSW for the same treatments. I booked online at this clinic for LED for a 1:30 appointment. I arrived at 1:25 and was told to take a seat, within minutes of sitting I was then asked if I booked online. I said yes, and it was then explained to me that when people book online for LED it can double book the machine. This is stated no where in the booking process or online, nor was a courtesy call made to explain. I was then asked to come back in 30mins. I came back 30mins later, filled out a form, waited another 15 mins to be told there’s another customer using the machine and it will be another 5-10. After waiting 40-45mins past my initial appointment time I gave up and left. I don’t mind things being double booked but I would suggest a courtesy call to the customer to change the appointment time, not have them be told to come back and wait 40 mins. I went around the corner to another clinic in the centre who booked me in and gave me an appointment right away. Moral of the story, don’t book online I guess? But reviews below say booking in person and over the phone is difficult also.

Firstly, my cuticles were cut to the point that my thumb kept bleeding, my nails were filed relatively wonky, and the nail art was absolutely nothing like the inspiration design (Photo 1). I was then charged $60, which was an expensive cost for a rather poor job. Overall, I would not go back.

The ladies are super friendly but I also feel like sometimes they definitely rush to get the nails done quickly and the nails look very uneven and also keep breaking just a few days after.. Last week I paid $95 for an infill (just some glitter polish at the tips), and I already broke one Tip :( ..

sarah sachdeva I really wanted to like this place because I had heard such great reviews, and the nail technician was honestly super sweet and kind throughout the appointment. Unfortunately, the actual work on my nails was really disappointing. I got builder gel, which was $15 more than what I usually pay at other salons, but I didn’t mind spending extra if the quality matched the price. Sadly, my nails looked very unfinished—lumpy in some spots, uneven in shape, and just not like something done by a professional. It felt rushed and the final result didn’t reflect the reputation this salon seems to have. I usually leave nail appointments feeling great, but this time I left feeling like I needed to fix or redo them elsewhere. Really disappointed, especially because the technician was so lovely—it’s just the quality that really let me down.

Lots of attention to detail The services I got was shellac only (no manicure spa) acrylic extensions, french tip, and art on 2 fingers index, and then pedicure spa shellac, the price is a little high up premium they explained to me nail art is $25, acrylic $20 extra, my manicure $71 (no manicure shellac only) extra french tip was a total of $116 this price is premium, however they did a really good job, also quick and they explained their prices breakdown which means shellac + french tip is $71 I think (shellac only not include manicure spa or cuticle) + $20 extension acrylic and $25 for x2 fingers nail art. Teco did a pretty good job I’m happy. Highly recommend, Thank you again! See you guys again

Natalie Short So relaxing. The staff treat you with such love, care, respect and are very skilled. I got a zebra design for my fingers and plain red for my toes. The precision is incredible. Took my mum as well and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have reasonable prices as well. Best place Ive had my nails done yet. 10/10 would recommend.

Gianne Dufficy I used to visit the salon that was here before Bliss, so naturally, I came back to try it when Bliss opened toward the end of last year. I’ve been here more than four times now and have no complaints at all. The owner is very nice, highly professional, and extremely organised when it comes to managing clients waiting time. I’ve been to many nail salons where things can feel chaotic, but they manage everything so well here. They also keep the place exceptionally clean, even using small bins for rubbish rather than leaving it on the floor until the end of the day. I’ve had these nails for over a week now, and they’re still perfect! Patricia did my nails on my last visit, and she was both extremely friendly and skillful. I’d love for her to do them again next time.

Kim Nguyen I have been going to Bliss Nails and Beauty Bar for a few times since they have changed the new owner. I am so happy I found this place. The staff are amazing. Emma the owner always does such an amazing job with my nails. I get so many compliments from people including teens. She is excellent with nail art! Holly Gardam First time trying this salon. I got builder gel infill on natural nails, they did such a good job. In the picture u can see how well it was done from the side, no bubbles no lumps. The shape is absolutely perfect. They are open and honest about their prices which as set ( very rare so u know they are not going to scam you). They even have loyalty cards which I appreciate so definitely coming back here. It’s on level 1 next to the BigW.

Chip Nice local cafe with helpful staff serving traditional breakfast food but also with a Mediterranean (Greek based) menu options as well. Dont skip on the coffee! It was recommended to me to come here for it and it is definitely the place to come to for a great coffee at any time of day; generous portions too (I.e. shrinkflation didnt affect the coffee sizes here). Has indoor and outdoor seating, nearby parking, very accessible to anyone.

fran bell Wouldn’t even say 1 star. Extremely disappointed with the service I received from this salon. Went for a pedicure and acrylic full set, both with French tips. Pedicure was fine but my acrylic nails are very poor. They were interrupted as I had to nip for another appointment and part of the application were then missed, meaning I now have chunky acrylic on my nails and some are crooked. I had already asked the lady to fix 2 that had been filed too narrow (coffin shape) so she stuck acrylic on the side. I was in the salon for almost 1hr 45 when she said it would take another 25 min to fix, as I had another appointment I said I didn’t have time, so she painted them. I called back in 2 days later to ask if it would be possible for them to file the nails a bit more on top and fix the misshaped ones. The lady was very rude grabbing my hands and pulling my fingers to look at my nails, she then said “what is wrong with them?” Worryingly unfazed by the mess on my fingers. She said as I had left on Monday I must have been happy with them so she won’t fix them. I spent $140 in the salon and the lady was not the least bit interested when I explained I ran out of time for them to be fixed on Monday and I was dissatisfied with the services I have received. She told me it wasn’t their responsibility to fix them as they weren’t broken or damaged. So after again waiting 15 mins for them to see me today I left the salon with nails that do not live up to the price tag. Very disappointing

Very reasonable prices, kind staff A LOT of colours to choose from, even special polishes (e.g cats eye, holographic) All around a good experience, great quality nails and good prices

Jynelle Luxe is a great alternative to some of the busier salons in the Macquarie Center. Its very clean and aesthetically pleasing and they really make the most of their space considering they also do waxing. The employees are friendly and very accommodating and let me take my time choosing colors and designs. Some of my nails were very damaged and I thought would need to be soaked off but my manicurist managed to save them for me and make them look healthy again! It is $55 for a single color acrylic fill. Even with my add on stickers they are till fair and pretty speedy. I will say that the acrylic is thicker than most salons Ive been to, but it doesnt bother me.
