Sharon S First time I visited the salon I had the nano plasty done. Normally, elsewhere I would have another treatment to straighten my hair. I was re-educated on hair and products alike. The service was above and beyond and I left like a queen. Parking was easy at Hornsby Westfield and less than a 5min walk outside. On, my second visit I had a touch up on my colour. I am again so happy with the results. Yayin is a true professional and I encourage to book online, you won’t be disappointed. Also mammas note she is available on a Sunday if you are time poor.

Ann Chong I go to Yayin for color in the past year but today was the first time I had Irene do a cut as well. I am very fussy with my haircuts but must say that I’m very pleased with what Irene did. Sk3tch3 H Tried this place for the first time and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was nice and I didnt feel pressured into awkward conversation, and the hair cut made me feel amazing. I barely even had to explain what I wanted done, the lady hairdresser was so experienced she could tell just by looking at my hair. For the first time I walked out feeling like I actually got the haircut the hairmodels have in the photos. The price was definitely worth it as the hairdresser spent over an hour on my hair and on top of that I got a student discount. They also washed and styled my hair as well, overall great service. If you are thinking about trying to get a professional haircut for the first time here is the place!

Khan Amman I cannot explain my disappointment as soon as I stepped in this god forsaken barbershop. I want to begin with the fact that they are incapable of delivering a good quality haircut as they abosolutly gave me stage five hair folicle cancer. I want to add that their clippers are infested with mould and ticks. Clearly Ben has not a single idea on what a valid haircut is as he cut into my scalp. NEVER COME HERE. I just wanted my Batman haircut.

Coby H Sat down, gave some directions on how I wanted my hair cut (including pointing to a photo) and off we went. The chatter was nice but halfway through it became evident the barber just didnt listen to my initial request to keep the top long and kept cutting and cutting and cutting. You might wonder why I didnt stop him, well, by a certain point there is no return and you might as well buzz cut it to clean up the mess at home (which is what I did). No disrespect to those that enjoy coming here, but I would warn others about relying on the reviews about how "a cut above the rest of is". For prospective new customers, just a heads up that you wont get a stylised cut here that you want. Youll get an old school cut or whatever they give you in between the chatter. Oh, and they dont even attempt to clean you up after they finish cutting. Other places Ive been to that cost less than this place (I was charged $27), you get a talcum powder dusting with a brush to remove the bits of hair. I walked out regretting my decision to come here and try the newer barbers opening up around the place.

Christopher Z. Literally the worst haircut I’ve had in the past 5 years. I asked for a specific hairstyle and even showed a clear photo—but she cut off my fringe completely, leaving only a few thin strands. It’s the exact opposite of what I asked for. Now I’m stuck dealing with the slow, frustrating process of growing it back—months of waiting just to undo someone else’s poor execution. Don’t waste your money or your time here.

Jay Labadan Melin did my perm I was so disappointed I felt I was not valued and welcome she was grumpy while doing my hair as I applied conditioner the night before. She was telling me that she had 30 years of experience working as a hairdresser but I saw how she is struggling not a pro. Just a week later, my hair doesnt look perm getting back to its original state I think the product she applied is not quality. Not worth your money its the worst perm I had. Not recommended at all. Poor quality and service.
