He is 3yo, would not tolerate a cape, no clippers, and absolutely freaked out if he was tickled by any hair. Debbie assured me she could work with him to get him comfortable. Jitin Jacob My daughter started with a terrible fear towards haircuts since she has sensory issues. She would object strongly and needed our help to hold her during the haircut. From the very first day, Debbie strived to make my daughter comfortable. She kept repeating that she would never hurt her and was very patient towards my daughters resistance to hair cuts. Liss Balla My kids (5) and (6) have been coming to Debbie for over 3 years. We initially found Debbie when previous haircuts at “children friendly” places were not the calming environment needed (clippers absolutely frightened my son - the last pre-Debbie cut had my son (then 18 mth old) holding onto me and screaming in my ear whilst the hairdresser proceeded to try cutting, even seeing how distressed he was)). First haircut Debbie used scissors and then every haircut thereafter he’s been perfectly fine on the clippers. Debbie’s calm, warm and friendly manner is perfect for kiddies who are anxious and need extra time doing something new!
