Marcio Great place to spend time with yourself, friends and/or family. Easier to find parking at the bush side than the flats. Plenty of shaded areas and a variety of spaces, from the sand beach to the playground, restaurant, bbqs and other greens for picnics and play. The restrooms are well maintained. The playground is not the best but still very good for both big and small children.

M A R I O It is a very nice place . The playground is very big and good for the kids . But .. The BBQ area is very small and not enough for the people. It is a bit far to other activities. Also . Threre is no shower in the restrooms . !!

Tammy Tr. Carss Bush Park is an absolute gem! It offers a beautiful water view that makes for a perfect backdrop whether you’re having a picnic or just going for a walk. The park is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy nature. The kid’s playground is fantastic — safe, fun, and well-equipped to keep little ones entertained for hours. It’s also a dog-friendly park, with on-leash areas where your furry friends can join in on the outdoor fun. One of the highlights this year was the First Water Lantern Festival in Sydney — such a magical and unforgettable experience! Plus, the convenience of free parking makes visiting this park even better. Highly recommend Carss Bush Park for a relaxing day out with family, friends, and pets!

Ben Flack A small museum to the history of Carss Park and the Carss family, also has a roll for the Kogarah area of people who served in WW1. The staff there were friendly and definitely cared about the piece of history they were preserving.

Hayley Dean Carss Bush Park, Blakehurst: located in the foreshore of Kogarah Bay, this wonderful parkland holds Regional Heritage Significance. The house you can see in the photos was once owned by a Scotsman by the name of William Carss in 1863 and is now a museum (only opened on Sunday) run by the Kogarah Historical Environment.

Carole Jones A group of Balmain Probus members visited the museum on the 26th September, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the 2 ladies from the Historical Society were so informative and we had a really wonderful visit.
