Cassi Catsaros Amazing salon! I had my hair completely restyled with balayage and I’ve never been so happy with my new colour. Karley and her team are incredibly kind, professional and talented. They took the time to speak with me about my wishes and were very precise! Shout out to the amazing Laekana who did my hair colour, a truly talented and wonderful woman! Kate Samways Karley and her team are some of the best. To have the skill and quality of city stylists in Oatley is incredible. They always use the latest techniques and colour blends to ensure a modern look that I love. I have been a client of Karleys for over 15 years and wouldnt dream of going anywhere else... So much so that Ive even moved to Queensland and fly back every second month to visit!

Chanel Soames Karley is the most amazing hair dresser I have ever been to. I started coming to Karley 6 years ago when she opened and have never been anywhere else since. I already have my appointment scheduled for the next 12+ months. The girls always nail the brief and my hair has never been healthier. All the staff are so beautiful inside and out, making you feel like part of the family every visit. Not to mention the salon itself is absolutely breathtaking. I could not recommend this salon highly enough, every person I have recommended to come here has had the same experience. Thank you for always making me feel so beautiful. I am forever indebted to you girls.

Maggie There is a reason why this place is always booked out-it’s because it’s so professional and the hair stylists are so accommodating and fantastic at what they do. I had only a blow dry and trim here, but all the girls greet you as soon as you go in. Your attended to straight away. I was due for a meeting really soon so had a bit of a time constraint and told Karley this, even as busy as she was, she tried to accomodate this for me. My hair experience has been absolutely fantastic here and my cut and style is stunning! Thanks Karley and the beautiful team!

Christine Wilson I regularly go to see Elizabeth. She is by far the best hairdresser I have found. Her ability to cut, style and colour my hair is amazing. Last year I moved back to Canberra and it is a measure of the high regard that I have for her talent as a hairdresser that I travel the 600km round trip to get my hair done by Elizabeth.

Sinead Grosvenor Had a consult and a full head of foils with Hayley. I loved every single minute I was there. She is so knowledgeable and explains what she is doing throughout the process, she does such a thorough job, and she is so welcoming and warm. She also recommended and sold me products to help with my hair. Since I have been using the products my hair has never felt better. Sally Charlton I’ve been going to Dalliance for a few years now. All of the girls are lovely and make you feel so comfortable and at home when you are there. The salon itself is a beautiful space. I love the Aveda ritual aromatherapy massage at the beginning. It always helps me feel present and able to forget whatever stresses were happening around me before I got to the salon. The products are amazing and smell divine! All of the girls are talented in their craft and listen to any feedback and adjustments you would like. I also get my brows done and am always happy with the results. Keep it up girls!

Nicole Vial Brava is amazing, all the stylists were so nice as soon as I entered the salon and throughout my whole appointment. Me and my mum got our hair done by the same girl Khadiga, and both had a great time talking to her, she is very respectful and so kind about everything especially how she makes sure you get what you want done with your hair and executes it perfectly. My mum has already booked her next appointment and she got her hair done a day ago we will definitely be back and I heavily recommend Brava.

Annette Yalda Steer Clear! I spent a lot of money to lighten my hair with Salone Hair. The goal was to go lighter, without warmth and to add dimension and we achieved that in 2 sessions. Exactly 5 weeks later, I went in to get my roots tinted. I reminded my hairdresser 3 times not to go darker, to be careful not to cover my dimension (foils) and to ensure no warmth (red) was added. She put the wrong coloured tint on my hair (dark and warm) and handed me over to a Junior to wash the tint off. The Junior washed the tint all over my hair and when my hairdresser dried my hair, she immediately commented that my hair had become dark and warm. She spent the next 3 months trying to correct the darkness and warmth by toning my hair over and over. After each attempt, it got darker and darker and more and more red. All our communication was done in writing and I sent her photos after every session. She just kept making excuses, coming up with different explanations and asking me to go back again for another toner. I had to pay for the ‘attempted fixes’ every time. I finally went and got a 2nd opinion from an extremely reputable salon and they told me that the permanent tint was washed over my whole hair and foils and that it should’ve been corrected at that time. They said the worst thing you can do is put toner on top of toner and that my colour was damaged and that I would need to start the whole process again (to lighten, add dimension, get rid of the darkness and the red). I contacted the owner of the salon to ask for reimbursement to go get my hair fixed elsewhere. She was extremely rude and aggressive and said she would not offer me reimbursement to fix my colour because I got to enjoy the colour for 5 weeks! Close to $2000 spent to enjoy the colour for only 5 weeks! Watch out for their pricing too! They used to charge me $150 for tint and toner and then one day they charged me $240. I tapped my credit card without realising and saw the charge later that day. At the next session I asked what the additional $90 was for, she simply said ‘I’m not sure why I charged you that but I’ll look into a credit for you’. At the next appointment, she came to charge me $200. When I asked why it was $200, she said ‘from now on it’s going to be $200’. I asked for my credit to be applied and she tried to push it off to the next appointment but I insisted and she applied it. They continued to charge my mother $150 for tint and toner so they make up prices as they go, to see if they can get away with cheating their customers! Last comment is that every single time my mother, sister or I were there, there was always at least another 2 customers complaining about their roots showing greys after only 2 washes, about the toner going brassy or red or complaints about hair extensions. Every time there was a complaint, it was met with defensive and aggressive behaviour. I sent the owner an email to try to resolve this issue amicably and gave her 14 days to respond, but she never responded. I am taking this matter to NSW Fair Trading to seek partial reimbursement so I can go fix my hair elsewhere.

gabriiella kosteski I recently visited Salone for a full hair makeover, and I couldnt be happier with the results! My hair had previously been damaged by another salon and was left with my hair fried, brittle, and showing severe signs of breakage. From the moment I walked in, Dev made it clear that the health of my hair was her priority! She was incredibly knowledgeable which made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I had my hair coloured, cut, and added tape extensions, and the entire experience was flawless. She took the time to really understand exactly what I wanted to ensure I left with my dream hair. The colour turned out exactly as I had envisioned, and the extensions blent seamlessly with my natural hair. All of the staff were incredibly professional from start to finish. Could not recommend anyone better then dev and all of the staff at Salone!!

Amanda Ganley I visited Salone Hairdressers for the first time today. The salon is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. My hair stylist was Michele and she was incredible. I am so happy with the results. Ive already had 2 random strangers come up and tell me how amazing my hair looks. I came out the most gorgeous shade of brown and my hair feels so healthy. She took the time to really listen to what I was after and she also understands colour theory so she instantly knew I was a cool winter and what shades would work best with my skin tone, eye colour etc. She did a graduated bob cut (short in the back coming down longer in the front) and it looks stunning. I cannot recommended Michele enough if you are looking for a new hairdresser or need a hair overhaul.
