CC L This was truly one of the best walks Ive been on. The views were absolutely stunning, with so much natural beauty to take in. Along the way, I spotted birds and even a wallaby, which made the experience even more special. The walk also features Indigenous art, adding cultural depth to the journey. There were more stairs than I expected, so be prepared for a bit of a workout, but the trail itself was very well-marked and easy to follow thanks to plenty of signage. Highly recommended!

Mark Emery One of Sydney’s great walks that most should be able to do if can walk 10km. Amazing views throughout. Less crowded on weekdays but a good trail at anytime. If can coincide your walk with low tide, more interesting along beachfront away from suburban streets. Very well signposted. Allow 2.5-3hrs. Hilly bits not too long and strenuous. I have a preference for walking in easterly direction Spit Bridge to Manly for a ferry ride back to city, but the other way won’t be too bad either.

jj zhang Translation results The one-way journey is 11 kilometers long, with a lot of steps to climb. What sustained me through the whole journey was the sea view, which was so dreamy and beautiful that it was worth all the hard work. I think this is why Spit to Manly is regarded as a classic hiking trail.

Moie G Ara It is a beautiful walking trail. If youre not a fan of too much sun, like me, it is better to visit there on a cloudy day. Water dispenser and other facilities are only available in the parks.

Evie Messieh Amazing Isoldes beach, clear water. I have been here many times with my family, and it is the most wonderful beach ever. it is sometimes a little crowded but overall, it is beautiful. Tips: Go early in the morning: it is less crowded, and the sunrise is amazing. Grab an ice cream and sit at the beach.

Kim Olarte It is a peaceful and beautiful spot. Perfect for couples if you are looking for a quiet escape from the city. Also perfect for swimming, relaxing or enjoying a picnic. The beach pavilion provides a comfortable space to rest with clean facilities and a calm atmosphere. Less crowded than other Sydney beaches, it’s a great place to unwind.

Yen Chang Beautiful waterfront park with free BBQs, toilets and tables. Unfortunately overcrowded by hordes of people. Best to avoid on weekends and public holidays. Photos show before it got even MORE crowded.

Joseph Azrael Daluz Our favourite go-to beach! 12-hour parking, packed with playgrounds for children of all ages, a nearby cafe, plenty of room for picnics and putting cabanas or tents, and a restroom in the middle. The waves are child-friendly as it is not strong. There is a nearby dog beach and you can also bring your dog here on a leash. Just watch out if it is safe to swim as there was a time when we swam there and didn’t read the safety notice. Overall, excellent beach!

Michael Hui My FAV beach atm, has everything you need for a family visit to a beach, shallow water for the younger kids, dog friendly, plentiful parking, cafe, restaurant, shaded playground, changeroom with shower, and clean toilet...etc

The Lioness Its a nice beach to go with family and kids. We liked the idea of a netted swim place. A good size playground and good variety. Clean toilets, but colds showers. Paid parking next to beach, $8/hour off peak , but we found free parking on the streets nearby.

5.Grotto Point Aboriginal Rock Engravings

Address: Grotto Point Track, Clontarf NSW 2093

Imges Grotto Point Aboriginal Rock Engravings

(21) Reviews Grotto Point Aboriginal Rock Engravings:

Daniel Ryken These rock carvings are quite faint, but very easy to find. There is actually a boardwalk that goes from the main bush track that takes you right up to them, and they are clearly signposted with an explanation of what it is, along with a sketch. The great thing with that is it stops people from accidentally walking over the carvings. Carved into what I believe is sandstone, the carvings are slowly fading away over the years, but you can still make out its original shape.

Brad Bennett Have wanted to go and see every since seeing the movie "Theyre a weird mob". Very nice walk from the nearby park down to the engravings with lots of native flora and fauna to see on the way. The Engravings are worn down a lot now and a little hard to see but still interesting. Was very disappointed to see someone walk in to the area and walk straight over the top of one of the Engravings and start taking selfies. No respect at all.

Brendan Millett Disappointed to see this amazing engravings left very much unprotected. NPNSW need to find a away to keep these amazing works open to the public but protected to stop people walking over them. Worth the short detour off the main Spit to Manly track.

Ian Wilson This is a fantastic place with interesting rock art. But its terrible to see people and whole tour groups stepping off the path and walking over the precious engravings. Signs protecting the site should be larger and in different languages.
