Kylie Shears Great foils in my blonde hair - I was stopped in a shopping centre a month later, by someone who wanted to know where I got my hair done! Very accommodating of my young children, who were able to sit in the salon so i could get my desperately overdue foils done.

Joanne Adlington Have had my hair cut and coloured a couple of times in the last 5 months. Jodie the owner, and the rest of the staff are good at what they do. Its the sort of place u can have a chat and a laugh. No-one takes themselves too seriously. I cant fault their hairdressing skills. Prices are reasonable as well.

Lauren Suffling Jodie and staff have been absolutely lovely, they offer a cuppa every time I walk in and their skills with hair are incredible! Both times Ive been here I have had pretty dramatic changes but today was by far the biggest. We colour corrected my belayage and dyed it all bright pink! Not only was the service super friendly and welcoming, but my hair has never been more soft and shiny - or more pink! Price was very decent considering the time and effort required for this change. 10/10 would recommend

Erin I got my hair cut at the salon yesterday. The owner who cut my hair was a very lovely and comforting lady. Usually I get anxious going to hair salons but she made my experience rather comforting. The salon was spacious and was rather cutely designed. Lots of plants! I asked for a cut. I had medium to long hair. And I asked for shoulder length. She was able to give me exactly what I wanted and I was very happy with the cut. Overall the price of the hair cut was fair. The the salon was clean. And the owner was a lovely person. If you live in the area I definitely recommend going to her!

Grace Crispus Manel does the most beautiful Baby highlights - just very skinny, delicate highlights that blends and camouflage my greys. Not any stylist can master that technique and thats why Ive been with MK hairstylist for over 6 years! She also keeps with up with the lastest trends. I see Manel for foils around the hairline, semi on the roots and a gloss toner on the ends. Shes perfected my colour for a seamless grow out and maintenance only required every 8-10weeks. Manel is also a very kind person and not only does she make me look beautiful on the outside but she always has a listening ear to some of my first world problems. Im very lucky to have found her all that years ago.

Therese Stanton Manel is truly a master at her work. She is the only hairdresser I’ve been using for the last 6+ years. Her attention to detail and precision in looking after my hair for foils, extensions cuts and treatments has always been perfect. I have been receiving weft hair extensions for the last 4 years from Manel and not only have the extensions been silky soft… my real hair has grown so long and healthy because of her application! I always recommend her to all of my friends and family as she is in a very accessible location with great service.

Kellie Roche Manel has great quality hair extensions and I recommend her and them, to everyone and anyone. She fits the extensions so well and, at an affordable price too. Shes precise, friendly, she listens and she gives fabulous results! Also, if you havent bought her extension brush youre using the wrong brush!! Im not joking! Every extension brush Ive ever used gets caught up in my extensions... Her brush breezes through them and actually brushes your hair properly! Its a must buy!

Whispering Minotaur I had an amazing experience, Sebastian was very friendly and warm. I asked for a blowout taper and it looked really good. It’s also very affordable compared to other prices and you get exactly what you ask for. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get a blowout taper.

Andrew Lam Hands down the best barber in town. Been going to Seb for just over 2 years now and as a barber myself I can say that he truly is a one of a kind barber. He shows true appreciation and effort in his work and takes into consideration all details needed for a perfect haircut. Not once have I walked out of there not feeling 100x more confident than I was before. I highly suggest Seb to be your barber as he is a great person to talk to whilst maintaining professionalism and high quality work at the same time.

Ivy Tseng I booked Holly to do both my own and my mums hair and makeup for my wedding reception event. From the start to end, Holly was easy to work with and very responsive from the moment I booked in my appointment to the day of. Even though I was running very late for my hair and makeup appointment (no fault of Hollys, who turned up on time and was very patiently waiting for me), I felt very relaxed and beautiful by the end of my appointment. Holly took a lot of care and I could tell how knowledgeable she was. I also picked up a few tips and tricks throughout the appointment (including a new lipstick shade to try!). Holly also did my mums hair and makeup. Mum is a wheelchair user and Holly was very accommodating with this. We were both very happy with our looks, and the hair and makeup held up well! I felt and looked beautiful - thank you so much, Holly! :-) would 100 per cent recommend!

HuiPing Ho Holly’s work was absolutely wonderful! She made me look so elegant for my tea ceremony. It also lasted all day. She is very professional and really listens to your requests.

Grace Reyes My hair and make up looked amazing on my wedding day because of Holly! She was great to work with and listened to the vision of how I wanted to look on my wedding day. I definitely recommend doing the trial with her too (which I did for my bridal shower) as it helped to really know what worked and what I liked best for the wedding. Her assistant that did my mum and maid of honour was just as talented and we all enjoyed the experience and look wonderful on the special day. Joanna C. I have been to Sophie twice now, and she is so lovely and professional. The first time I came I had a vague idea of what I wanted, hoping for further advice and assertiveness, and she made sure to listen to all my thoughts, make suggestions, and still allow for last minute changes as we went along. Many hairdressers have not impressed with my last minute requests mid-cut, but Sophie was so happy to accomodate so that I loved the cut I walked out with, and I absolutely did. She is gentle and attentive when cutting, without racing through or putting on a show. It was a genuine & enjoyable experience, and my second time back was just as nice. Would highly recommend SK Hair Design & will be returning regularly in future :)

Christine Got a wash, haircut to a bob and blowout for $75. I didnt like how it was styled, so I washed it out. To my horror, my hair was cut so unevenly and choppily. My hair is quite thick and needs to be thinned out/blended; none of this was done. It is incredibly obvious from the back and sides. Ive never had a more awful/amateur haircut from a professional. I had to go to another reputable salon who said that my hair was just hacked into. Would not recommend.

Christina U Being new to the area, I had to find a new hairdresser who I could trust to do a great job. Sophie was highly recommended so I booked with her. She did a great job, my colour looks beautiful and her salon set up is first class. Very clean, stylish, modern and comfortable.

Naji Bottos All ways gone here to get haircuts for my son and husband. I have always had amazing customer service and friendliness. On top of all that giving the best prices at only $23 for mens cut and $20 for student cuts, best prices for one of the best barbers near me.

Hecker 101 The barber is friendly and attentive, but didn’t exactly comply with my repeated requests to only cut a little hair off the top - he took way too much off and botched my hairstyle.

Christie Ciantar Took my 5 yr old son to have a hair cut today (before/after photos attached to review). Staff were professional and friendly. I have really struggled to find a hairdresser to cut my sons hair the way we like it (its a longer style). The barber checked in with me many times throughout cutting my sons hair to make sure I was happy with the amount being cut off. He listened well and we are all very happy with the outcome (especially after having his hair cut elsewhere in the past and being disappointed). Very affordable too ($15 for boys under 10yrs). Will definitely be back and recommend to others.
