Alice Cheng Photography Mary Booth Lookout Reserve is a beautiful spot for weddings ceremonies. The fact that you can get both views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, makes it a stunning backdrop for photos. As a wedding photographer, I also love how spacious the lawn is, it gives plenty of room for group photos afterward. Plus, it’s more quiet than other popular locations in the same area, which makes the whole experience feel more intimate and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Prasanna Dinesh One of the best places to see the opera house, and the Harbour bridge. Watched the Australia day fireworks, and was pretty great. Nearest train station is Milsons point.

Nerine Cummins This is a MUST SEE for Everyone! The view can’t be beaten of the harbour and a bird’s eye view of Circular Quay, The Opera House and you are literally under the Harbour Bridge. It’s a Photographer’s Dream. So easy to access from the Milsons Point Wharf and an easy walk from Milsons Point Train Station. You have a fantastic view of Luna Park and there’s adequate toilet facilities in the park. I would not hesitate to recommend a day trip here. Stunning!

Niki Vasiliadis Awesome look out and park area for picnics, relaxing or strolling around the harbour foreshore. Great views of the harbour bridge and the opera house. Access to Jeffrey Street ferry wharf. Street and bay parking available along Olympic Drive, metered but reasonable. Short walk from Milton’s Point train station and nearby shops.

Alice Cheng Photography Copes Lookout is honestly one of my favourite spots to shoot in Sydney. I recently photographed a small elopement there and it’s hard to go wrong with such an iconic backdrop. What I love most about this spot is how peaceful it feels. Even though it’s such a well-known area, it wasn’t overly crowded. It’s the kind of spot where you can easily mix things up—soft, intimate shots surrounded by greenery or wide, dramatic photos with the harbour as the backdrop. There’s so much variety in one location!

Toby Evans McDougall Street is a must see if you really enjoy jacaranda trees, Just be aware it is still a functioning street so be careful around cars and traffic. The park right next to it is perfect for a family picnic.
5 /5
Leigh Tingle Stunning street with trees both sides of road. Weekends, council prevents vehicle access due to high volume of visitors taking photos.

Shradhey Amazing view of the trees but only worth visiting in Months of October - November when the flowers are blooming. Its different every year so check on Google for the latest photos before coming down here.

Chanchaya kuram Milson Park in Kirribilli, Sydney, is a charming and picturesque green space known for its stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the city skyline. The park features ample green space, shady trees, and picnic areas, making it an ideal spot for relaxing with family and friends. Its particularly popular during the jacaranda blooming season, when the park and the adjacent McDougall Street are adorned with vibrant violet flowers, creating a beautiful backdrop for visitors

Jenny J.Y. Kim Stunning water view, easy free street parking next to the park. There is a cafe around the corner to sit and enjoy a cuppa. If you visit around October when Jacaranda blossoms, you will not be disappointed with the pretty purple on the street.

Seeing the world In a different way I enjoyed the scenic views of the beautiful trees, the waterfront and marina offered at Milson Park. There is also a stretch of Blue Jacaranda trees on McDougall street. This place is very popular when the Blue Jacaranda flowers are in bloom (November- December). Also be mindful of the traffic when looking at the trees and respectfully of those living in the area. After looking at the trees I suggest you walk down to nearby Luna Park and take in an awesome video of the Sydney Harbour, Sydney Bridge and the Sydney Opera house. If you like my photos, videos or reviews then park yourself by the like button

Marcio As always in Sydney, a beautiful view, well maintained, and plenty of space to run as playing with others or alone. They have a close garden where they produce some greens like lime and rocket. Parking in this area is always problematic as it is super busy from locals to visitors, until 6pm mostly 2P or 1P. If you park closer to Kirribilli hotel you can find some 4P and on weekends can find no restrictions further away closer to the bridge. Restrooms are ok, room for improvement. The playground is very simple, and surely can be improved too.

Samra Subhay Mubashar We came to see the jacarandas tree but found this beautiful park. Really liked the vibe here a small play area for kids. Nice place to have picnic with the sea view and yachts. Lots of beautiful flowerbeds throughout the park and many butterflies flying around . It’s a dog friendly park.

Every now and then I visit the place either for an evening or morning walk, just to relax or have a picnic with my friends & family. The view is just magnificent... S. McMahon A little hidden gem located at the end of the fence attached to the Prime Ministers home. A quiet purpose built location on the water looking across Sydney Harbour suitable to have lunch at the tables or a chat with someone. Local parking can be an issue on weekends and there are no close by toilets
5 /5
Ali S Small park that lets you go all the way to the harbour rocks. Saw a couple of blokes fishing and others chilling on the benches. Not much else to see other than the water and fort denison on the right
5 /5
Vanessa Schmierer Its a nice view of the Harbour but very limited by the trees and neighbouring apartment building. Historical park and a nice place to picnic, read or reflect but no water or facilities. Steps right to the water.

Dan P I can’t believe it’s been nearly 9 years since my last visit here; Discovering this hidden gem in August of 2013, was a significant highlight as I wandered around Kirribilli. On that day, I happened upon an angler who was here doing a spot of fishing with his pooch, and we struck up a quick and friendly chat. He said hed caught a few fish. I didnt want to impede on him too much so I took a few quick snaps, and bookmarked the spot in my brain for a return on another day. Well today was the triumphant return, and I suspect as I did back then, that many people still don’t know this serene sanctuary exists. It’s a large-ish location in terms of available seating and the unobscured view of Fort Dennison gives a photographer unparalleled perspective.

If you get down there early enough with the tripod you could probably get a spectacular sunrise shot, that hasnt been done to death like every other vantage point in Sydney.
