5 /5 Niki Vasiliadis: Awesome look out and park area for picnics, relaxing or strolling around the harbour foreshore. Great views of the harbour bridge and the opera house. Access to Jeffrey Street ferry wharf. Street and bay parking available along Olympic Drive, metered but reasonable. Short walk from Milton’s Point train station and nearby shops.

I recently photographed a small elopement there and it’s hard to go wrong with such an iconic backdrop. What I love most about this spot is how peaceful it feels. Even though it’s such a well-known area, it wasn’t overly crowded. It’s the kind of spot where you can easily mix things up—soft, intimate shots surrounded by greenery or wide, dramatic photos with the harbour as the backdrop. There’s so much variety in one location!
