5 /5 Luodi: Best place to view airplanes landing in Melbourne. A little kiosk with coffee, tea and kebabs is on site for a little refreshment. Surprised to see some outdoor seating as well! All told a great spot. I might bring some camp chairs next time.

I rode my e-bike here from the city, taking the Merri Creek Trail, Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, and Broadmeadows Valley Trail—it was a scenic 2-hour ride and totally worth it! The area has some seating, and there are mobile cafes selling hot food and drinks, which is a great touch for visitors. Theres also plenty of open car parking available, making it convenient for everyone. Whether youre a plane enthusiast or just looking for a unique outdoor spot, this place is a must-visit!
