Kate Hayes Could not speak more highly of the Bulla Hill Miniature railway. Perfect place for a kids party or just a day out. Staff are friendly, there is an amazing train themed playground, tickets are super cheap and the views from The railway from Bulla Hill are a spectacular surprise. There seems to be a Sunday market that coincides with the railway opening so you have a range of choices for food and craft stalls. An excellent morning/day out

Ayse Baradan Perfect for kids parties. Hiring a shelter was very helpful for the bad weather but that didnt stop the kids from having fun. The trains are fun and enjoyable ride. Plenty of parking and very friendly volunteers

Nate K Great place to the kids, my 3 year old loves the trains, can get busy around and just after lunch but the line moves quickly, the staff are super friendly. This Miniature train is better than the others in our opinion, great views of the valley, and they recently installed a tunnel as well.

Luodi Best place to view airplanes landing in Melbourne. A little kiosk with coffee, tea and kebabs is on site for a little refreshment. Surprised to see some outdoor seating as well! All told a great spot. I might bring some camp chairs next time.

Henry Khosasih The aircraft viewing area is an amazing spot for watching planes land on Runway 16. The location is perfectly aligned with the runway, giving a clear and close view of the action. I rode my e-bike here from the city, taking the Merri Creek Trail, Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, and Broadmeadows Valley Trail—it was a scenic 2-hour ride and totally worth it! The area has some seating, and there are mobile cafes selling hot food and drinks, which is a great touch for visitors. Theres also plenty of open car parking available, making it convenient for everyone. Whether youre a plane enthusiast or just looking for a unique outdoor spot, this place is a must-visit!

Greg Moloney Take a stroll through this magnificent rose garden. Even take a thermos and snack a sit and enjoy this garden. Located in the grounds of the historic former Bulla Shire Offices. The garden is free and open daylight hours. If you are there on the right day take the kids (or even yourself) for a ride on a miniature steam train ride located next door.

D G One of the most beautiful gardens Ive ever been too. Its so great to be able to walk through at your own pace & take in the hard work that went into cultivating this garden. Definitely would recommend for all ages & entry is free which is a bonus !

Darryl Rowley Recently tripping to Victoria we stopped in at the garden for the first time and I gatecrashed a meeting of those who volunteer at the garden. I met a grand daughter of the Alstons who were neighbours of Alisters. What a joy. A true highlight of our trip to Victoria.
