The garden is free and open daylight hours. If you are there on the right day take the kids (or even yourself) for a ride on a miniature steam train ride located next door.

5 /5 D G: One of the most beautiful gardens Ive ever been too. Its so great to be able to walk through at your own pace & take in the hard work that went into cultivating this garden. Definitely would recommend for all ages & entry is free which is a bonus !

5 /5 Darryl Rowley: Recently tripping to Victoria we stopped in at the garden for the first time and I gatecrashed a meeting of those who volunteer at the garden. I met a grand daughter of the Alstons who were neighbours of Alisters. What a joy. A true highlight of our trip to Victoria.
