1 /5 Matthew Buckle: I found this gym via google and reading the reviews so thought I would update this from my experience. This is my 4th CrossFit gym since I joined CrossFit for the first time in 2013 and the gym I would personally rate the lowest. The other 3 I have all loved and only ever changed because of relocation. 11 years of being a CrossFit member and part of the broader community at the games etc. This gym is advertised as a friendly community driven gym, however I have not witnessed that. Coffee meet ups, Friday night lights, gym parties, running groups etc are all community type things I have seen at other gyms. At this gym I saw no evidence of an effort for community or any such events during my time here. While the members were very friendly it’s a small membership base. Additionally, I was frustrated because an injury meant I was not able to train nearly as much as I wanted to. I communicated my injury with the coaches there and they were kind to assist with alternatives where we could. I paused my membership due to the injury, or at least I thought I did based on the confirmation I received back from management. However, a few weeks later I found out that management had basically caught me out on small print and continued to charge me for that period. Technically according to the rules maybe I was supposed to be charged but as a community gym supporting its members I would expect more, or at least communication that my membership was not paused, instead of telling me it was.

5 /5 Anne Dee: Cannot recommend this gym enough! Whether you’re looking at trying CrossFit for the first time or you’ve been at it for a while, it’s honestly the best place to train. CrossFit Inventive is a family run gym with a friendly atmosphere and no egos. I’ve seen amazing results from the programming and look forward to every session. The head coach Jase is an inspirational athlete who always focuses on proper technique and can coach anyone at any level or skill set. Come give a session a go, you won’t be disappointed!

5 /5 Emma Kavanagh: I dropped in at CrossFit Inventive for a week and it was fantastic. There should be more reviews! Tash was very helpful in ensuring I got set up properly for class. All 3 coaches that I met were very friendly and introduced themselves. On my first day, I was introduced to the whole class! Clearly a very close-knit community and I felt very welcome to be part of it while I was there for 4 days. A good range of ages and abilities, but one thing they have in common is that they all work hard while theyre there. Thank you Jase & Tash for having me. Ill be back.

John We’ve been attending swim classes at the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre, and we couldn’t be more impressed! The swim school is fantastic, offering a structured, supportive environment for kids to learn and grow in the water. A huge shout-out to Wendy, who does an absolutely amazing job with the kids. Her patience, enthusiasm, and dedication really shine through, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about each child’s progress. My kids absolutely adore her! After each class, we love that we can continue the fun by heading straight to the kids’ pool for a swim. It’s the perfect way to unwind and practice what they’ve just learned, all while having fun. The facilities are always clean, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The staff are incredibly helpful, and there’s a real sense of community here. Whether you’re looking for swim lessons or a fun day out, the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre has everything you need. Highly recommend it to any family in the area! It’s become a regular spot for us.

My instructors Rod and Andrew have immense knowledge and skills levels and are very patient with beginners. I would highly recommend this Academy to all levels of Martial Arts enthusiasts.
