Zap Fitness 24/7 Surrey Hills - NSW

Robin Marchment I love my local Zap. It has all the necessary equipment and nice staff - but, more importantly (as someone who swore they would never go to a gym), I have found the atmosphere welcoming and peaceful. Although I like going there to enjoy "my own space", as a smaller gym, the other members are friendly and approachable. Its also reasonably priced and super convenient to go whenever I choose.

Willoughby Leisure Centre - NSW

Lily Fan This is a wonderful place to both have a relaxing swim or a fast swim squad training. They have a beginner’s swimming program for kids who are just starting to learn how to swim, but also a swim squad (Willoughby Swim Club) for those who are competing in a higher level standard. Cafeteria’s coffee was really nice, originally from Toby Estate. They have a play area and diving blocks, a 25m pool are also included. Outside, there’s a netball field while inside there’s a multipurpose field both may be used for Badminton, Basketball and more.

The Underground Fitness Club - NSW

Paula D I hate gyms. Have hated them for years. But the UG do it differently. These folks operate from a stance of building community, not just between you and the trainers Andy & Shelly, but also ensuring they’re building relationships amongst the members too. They’re super knowledgeable and supportive, no matter how hard (or not) you train.

Maximum Potential Calisthenics - NSW

Matthew Pickover I’ve been training with Dave and MPC for three years now but attended an official MPC muscle-up workshop for the first time today. As usual, Dave was extremely knowledgeable and has tips and tricks to help you learn the necessary technique. I left very happy after achieving my first ever muscle-up :)
