4 /5 Thuy N: Hurstville Aquatic Centre continues to be a great local facility with plenty to offer. The pools are well-maintained, and the kids’ swimming programs are organised and effective. The gym has a solid range of equipment, and it’s spacious enough to get a decent workout in without feeling cramped. Staff are usually friendly and approachable, which adds to the positive atmosphere. That said, one ongoing issue that affects the overall experience is the overcrowding in the spa, sauna, and steam room. These areas are popular, especially during peak hours, but they often feel too full to be truly relaxing or enjoyable. It can be difficult to make use of them comfortably, and at times, this also impacts the general cleanliness and air quality of the space. Managing the number of users or improving the flow through these areas would make a big difference. Despite this, the centre still serves as a valuable resource for the community. With a bit more attention to managing crowd levels in the wellness facilities, it could really elevate the experience for everyone. Fingers crossed they’ll take this on board!

2 /5 angela: The gym facilities at Hurstville Aquatic Centre are excellent, and the staff within the gym are always professional, friendly, and supportive. I have been very happy with that aspect of my membership. However, I am quite disappointed with the ongoing issues regarding the spa, sauna, and steam room facilities. The spa is frequently out of order and rarely appears to be repaired properly. Recently, the sauna was unavailable, and the steam room was also out of service this morning. Unfortunately, this has become a recurring issue. As members, we continue to be charged full fees, yet these amenities are often inaccessible, which does not feel fair or reflective of the advertised services. Additionally, the general cleanliness and maintenance of these facilities appear to be lacking. I would strongly suggest that management either ensure these facilities are consistently maintained and available, or consider adjusting membership fees when services are out of order for extended periods. The gym itself is a fantastic facility, but the spa, sauna, and steam room require urgent and consistent attention.

4 /5 Turpinator: My wife and i come here at least 2 times a week, sometimes 3, so to get full benefit we purchase a package to swim, sauna, spa and steam room. The steam room has been quite busy some mornings, but i am sick and tired of PAYING for this only to not be able to get in sometimes. I understand i will only hold so many people but the amount of people who use it and NOT wearing wrist bands has become quite signifigant. If you dont want to POLICE this then we will only start paying for a swim BUT use the facilities like everyone else. If you want to lose money, thats up to management

1 /5 Jennifer Yang: I’ve been with this gym for many years, and my membership has been on and off during that time. Sometimes my membership expires, but I still join other paid activities. This time, I signed up and paid for the Boot Camp program. I’ve never had any issues entering before. Today, I was already running late for Boot Camp and wanted to get in quickly. However, the front desk lady stopped me and said that only members can attend Boot Camp. I used to be a member, just not at the moment, but I did pay for the Boot Camp program. The whole situation made it feel like it was my fault, I’m really disappointing!
