1 /5 vicks veryberry: I signed up to this gym for a short period , i spoke to a short older lady that admins the front desk on sign up and specifically asked if i can be a member for a short time and cancel afterwards and that there will be no cancellation fee, as i planned to visit gym for a short time as my car will soon not be available for quiet some time and i cant reach gym during that period without car , she agreed and assured me these conditions (otherwise i wouldnt have signed up) we agreed to this and i signed up under these conditions and she gave me her number to guarantee when im gonna cancel membership she will cancel it without any issues or problems she even said she doesnt want to argue with people over cancellation and was guaranteeing to cancel without any issues fees or problems , nevertheless the time came i requested to cancel as my car was not available anymore and wont be for quiet some time, meanwhile i didnt use the gym for 2-3 weeks and i requested a cancellation , i never used the gym outside the paid period where i paid weekly, when i contacted them on phone and email and requested the cancellation they refused to cancel my membership and said they will continue to add fees weekly to my account, which is against consumer laws when a cancellation is requested , to which i replied i wont pay that continuation of fees and the male owner there on the phone started to threaten me physically which i went ahead to record to report to police , so they lied to me at sign up, they threatened me on phone screaming and shouting "u will pay one way or another" screaming at me on the phone which i went ahead to record in the phone call conversation , and report to police and they are breaking consumer laws by continuing to charge weekly fees despite that i dont use gym havent used gym outside the period which i paid to use gym and they refused the requested cancellation
