5 /5 Rebecca Dronsfield: I recently took some old pieces of jewellery to get repaired for my upcoming wedding. George was very helpful and very friendly. One piece he was able to fix when I was there, which was very quick service! For the other piece he had to pass it on to someone else to repair and said it would be available the following week. About 12 days later (and 2-3 days before my wedding), I rang to check if I could pick it up and unfortunately the lady who was repairing it had had COVID that week and so she was a bit behind on her workload, as understandably, shed taken a few days off to recover. George said it wouldnt be ready until the next week. When I explained that I was getting married on Saturday and this jewellery was very important to me (as they were gifts from my parents who were unable to come to my wedding), George immediately put my mind at ease and said they would put my order to the front of the queue! He called my the following morning to tell me my jewellery was ready to collect. I cant thank him enough for prioritising my repairs, due to my personal circumstances and I was so happy to wear my pearls and watch on my wedding day. When I went to pick them up, George was so charming and friendly. His service was outstanding. Also, his prices for the repairs were very reasonable and to the highest of quality. I definitely recommend Konstan Jewellers and will certainly come back for any future purchases or repairs I may have. Thanks again George!

1 /5 Lucia Braham: Dodgy business! Not disappointed with the repair I had done to some earrings, but it is obvious this man is running a financially illegal business. I went to pay with a card and was informed that there was a fire and he no longer has the facilities. when he then informed me it was cash only, which seems crazy these days considering how easy it is to acquire an eftpos machine, I requested a receipt. He then told me that I would have to pay GST on top, which is absolutely fine. When he gave me the receipt, there was no ABN and when I asked for his ABN, he told me he wouldn’t give it to me. I’m sure he realises this is illegal and I assume he is not even registered for GST, therefore not eligible to charge customers the extra 10%. He was rude, condescending and waved his hands in my face. When I pointed out his discrepancy regarding GST, he then opened his wallet and tried to give me back the nine dollars. I just walked away because it’s not even worth conversing with a person like this. Absolutely disgraceful.

5 /5 Danielle Abrahams: I bought my wedding ring here. We love it. It was a lovely, unique ring at a very good price and George was very helpful - he even encouraged me to shop around. I realised his prices were good after taking his advice! Since then i have become a regular customer, having heritage jewellery resized, buying a few earrings and dropping in for a chat. Hes an old school master craftsman. Dont believe the reviews of a few people who arent even customers.. George is great and I highly recommend him to everyone.

1 /5 JJ W: Don’t go near this man. He is condescending, dodgy, arrogant and full of his own self importance. It’s all about him and his mates. He thinks he’s king of the street. The sooner Dulwich Hill is rid of these kinds of store owners who have no respect for the general public, the better. Interestingly, he owns a very expensive Mercedes.
