5 /5 Matthew Golanjan: I joined Ninth Wave Fitness in November 2023 with no prior gym experience. After years of office work and dealing with chronic pain, I wasn’t looking for a quick fix. I just wanted to move better, feel better, and start taking care of my health properly in a way that was sustainable in the long-term.
What I’ve appreciated most is the realistic approach. The focus is on consistent effort, gradual progress, and building habits that actually last. If you show up, put in the work, and make a few lifestyle adjustments outside the gym, the results follow.
The sessions are well-structured, personally tailored, efficient, and purposeful. There’s a strong emphasis on mobility, which has helped a lot with pain and made everyday tasks feel easier. Every trainer (Matt, Dan, Shane, Musti and Neet) is switched on, knowledgeable, and supportive. They keep an eye on form, explain the reasoning behind what you’re doing, and adjust things as needed. As someone who started from zero, that’s made all the difference.
Its worth noting that this isn’t a gym where you just come in, work out unsupervised, and leave. Whilst thats an option outside of your supervised sessions, its only useful to supplement those sessions.
Ninth Wave Fitness is most beneficial for people who want guided training and are ready to be coached properly. If you’re after a solid training environment that supports long-term progress completely tailored to your circumstances and requirements, I’d highly recommend Ninth Wave Fitness.
