Eddie was incredibly patient with me as I knew nothing about rings, and he took hours to sit with me and discuss options, designs and the pros and cons of different choices etc. The ring was absolutely beautiful and my fiancé couldn’t be happier, or imagine herself wearing anything else. Sarah Geelan What can I say about Irene Byrne & Co, other than it is now my favourite store of all time? This past weekend my boyfriend and I were browsing at this beautiful store when he spotted a ring in the window and asked me to try it on. Irene and Travis were so lovely and welcoming, they let us browse and be in our own thoughts but were incredibly generous with their time and expertise whenever we did have a question about a piece of jewellery. We left the store, but we returned about 2 minutes later and my then-boyfriend, now-fiancé bought that same beautiful ring he’d admired in the window. And right then and there, surrounded by hundreds of other tokens of love from across the decades, he asked me to marry him. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect moment, so thank you Irene and Travis for being part of our story and treating us with such kindness and generosity. I’ll never forget it.
