Royal Jewellery did an amazing job fixing the ring, reasonably priced and finished the job fairly quickly. Would highly recommend, the aunties that work here are very knowledgeable with really friendly service.

1 /5 saisuni rueangnimit: Sharing my experience and #warning for anyone planning to buy gold with Royal Jewellery Co. On April 6, 2024 (last year), I bought a gold bar from this shop. At that time, I paid AUD 3,840 for about 2 baht in weight. Before making the payment, the staff let me inspect the gold bar, and I noticed some scratches and marks. I asked the staff about it, and they said it was normal for this type of gold bar (not ABC gold). Today, I went back to the same shop to sell the gold. They offered me a very low price — AUD 3,800 — which meant I was losing $40 from my original purchase price, even though the gold price is currently rising. They told me the gold had scratches and looked very old. But I had never opened it since the purchase — it had been kept in the original gold pouch the whole time. I told them I bought it from their store and that it already had those marks, and their staff had told me it was normal. It felt like they were intentionally trying to lower the price on me. So I asked to speak with the staff member who sold me the gold. She responded, “I’m not sure this one was bought from my shop.” Then she pointed at the owner and said, “Ask my boss, I’m just staff.” That really made me angry. I showed them the receipt as proof, but unfortunately, I didn’t check it thoroughly at the time — the receipt didn’t have the store’s name, just a generic tax invoice. So I said, “Never mind, I won’t sell it.” After that, I took the gold to another shop nearby called Asia Gem Jewellery. They didn’t mention anything about scratches. They simply examined the gold with a magnifying glass and weighed it. Then they offered me $4,800, saying that since it wasn’t ABC gold, that’s the price they could offer. I immediately decided to sell it. Then I walked back to the original shop and told them I sold it elsewhere for $4,800. I also said, “I’m very upset with your shop,” and walked away with attitude. ⸻ #If you’re planning to buy gold from this shop or anywhere else, please inspect everything thoroughly. #Highly recommend checking out Asia Gem Jewellery — they offer fair pricing and excellent service, with clear and detailed advice. The staff there were friendly, very helpful and we would recommend shopping there, if you’re looking for service and honesty. It’s a challenging business selling jewellery and we found Royal Jewellery to be a good place to visit.

We had stopped by another jewellery shop on the same street, but we were put off by unhelpful staff and left.☹️ Luckily we spotted Royal Jewellery further down, and hoped we would have a better customer experience. Within the first couple of seconds of walking in, we were greeted by a staff member which we assume was the owner/manager (wish we got her name!) who was lovely and began asking questions about what we were looking for. She began pulling out a selection of beautifully designed gold bracelets that ticked every box. Any questions I asked she answered willingly, without making me feel uncomfortable or inferior. Once I chose my bracelet, they offered to polish it and solder a part I wanted, to prevent the charm on my bracelet from accidentally coming off. The soldering was completed onsite and only took 15 minutes. Within that time, my partner and I browsed more of the store without feeling pressured to make another purchase and conversed with the manager. Customer service really makes a difference!! So happy with my purchase and the customer service provided. Will 100% be back to grow my jewellery collection! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much for making my first gold purchase a great experience! ☺️
