1 /5 Nancy Nuh: I visited the branch to close my account and waited for assistance from a teller(Rhonda). However, because the account had a credit balance, the teller informed me that I could not close it. I offered to settle the outstanding balance immediately, but she stated that she was unable to assist with that, which I found confusing.
Eventually, she referred me to a specialist/advisor, and I was asked to wait for over an hour. When I finally met with the advisor, I explained my situation, and he was able to resolve the issue quickly.
I find it difficult to understand why closing an account, a simple process, required such a lengthy wait and unnecessary steps. It’s frustrating that I had to endure over an hour of waiting for a solution that could have been addressed much more efficiently.
This experience has been the most disappointing customer service Ive encountered.
