5 /5 Ethan de Rome: When I joined Strength Tribe, I was in a shaky place—grieving the loss of a friend, dealing with injuries, questioning my skillset, and stepping into an unknown world completely on my own.
In the nearly two years I’ve been here, not only have I bounced back from those injuries, but I’ve also become physically stronger than I ever imagined possible. I’ve set goals I never would’ve dared to picture before.
I’ve found my passion, and I’ve found the confidence to be myself around people I never thought I’d fit in with. This place carried me through some of my darkest times, including the passing of my father. I’ve grown immensely—not just as an athlete and a coach, but as a person.
I can honestly call this place home. I’ve never felt more welcomed by a community before. The energy here constantly pushes me to be the best version of myself. Everyone is approachable and supportive, whether its offering a hand or spotting a heavy lift, to making some choices outside training or casual banter between different walks of life.
I still feel just as welcomed today as I did on day one—if not more. I genuinely hope to help new members feel that same sense of belonging when they walk through the doors and open book.
I’ve also made lifelong friendships here.
The coaches, the physio team, the facility, and the community are second to none. If you’re on the fence about joining, give this place a shot. You won’t regret it. I can’t see myself leaving any time soon.
(P.S. It’s a VERY dog-friendly gym—what’s not to love?)
