5 /5 James McDiarmid: The Collaroy Centre has been the venue for our Stage Three camp for the last four years. From the moment we arrived, the energy and enthusiasm of the staff set the tone for an engaging and well-organised experience.
The camp offered a wide range of activities that were both exciting and age-appropriate. Students loved the high ropes course, rock climbing wall, lazer tag, giant swing and team-building challenges. Each activity was designed to promote confidence, cooperation, and resilience, while still being incredibly fun. The evening games added a perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment.
The facilities at The Collaroy Centre were excellent. Cabins were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with plenty of space for students and staff. Communal areas were tidy and welcoming, and the dining hall served nutritious meals that catered to various dietary needs. Everything was clearly looked after with care and attention to detail.
The staff were a standout feature of the camp. They were professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about working with young people. Their ability to engage students, ensure safety, and create a positive atmosphere made a huge difference. Teachers and students alike felt supported and encouraged throughout the entire stay.
The Collaroy Centre has always provided a memorable and enriching camp experience for our Stage 3 students. With engaging activities, top-notch facilities, and outstanding staff, it’s a destination we would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.
