5 /5 Simon Drumm: I would like to say thank you to Nic and Lisa from Total Clarity Group who have managed by mothers retirement. She approached me 12 months ago after walking into a Big 4 Bank branch and receiving a "plan" telling her what to invest all her superannuation in for her retirement. She asked me to read it over but I referred her through to Nic at Total Clarity. Nic sat down with my mum and myself for a meeting and asked a lot of questions about what she wanted in retirement. After reading the report and finding out what my mum was looking for, Nic thought the plan from the Big 4 was missing a lot of detail and also the plan seemed to be heavily focused on products linked to the cash rate which was at historically low levels. The plan from Nic and Total Clarity was easy for my mother and myself to understand and she liked the fact that she would meet with Nic and team every 6-months to ensure her requirements had not changed. I am just so thankful that we met Nic and Lisa prior to my mother signing up to a Big 4 Bank solution which neither of us understood and which did not meet her needs.
