Aboriginal Heritage walk - (NSW)

4 /5 Niyati Aggarwal: If you start the trail anti-clock wise, we will come across some aboriginal art , and the first half of the trail is quite dry, just like walking on a rough stony path. Once you finish the first half and hit the resolute beach, the trail becomes a proper bush walk, up and down, you will have to make your way through some small and big stones. The views of resolute beach and west head beach are lovely. You can take a de route to the beaches for a little swim. Finally, at the last stretch, you hit the west head lookout which has an amazing view of the palm beach. Overall, a great one for beginners. Make sure to carry plenty water as there are no water filling stations neither at the start nor within the trail.

5 /5 Lulu G: What a stunner on a perfect winter day! We combined the Aboriginal Heritage walk with the Resolute beach loop walk in the clockwise direction. Many beautiful views of Pittwater, and we ducked down to the tranquil west head beach (where there were some keen beans swimming). The only dull part of the walk is the fire trail which - when walking counter clockwise is the last bit of the walk so consider going in the other direction. The drive through the national park to West Head is beautiful, and we will be back to do the various other walks in the vicinity!

4 /5 Rob VanElven: I combined this with the Resolute Beach Loop walk. I did it counter clockwise so it started with the fire trail. The beautiful carvings are early in the trail and best seen when the sun is not super high in the sky ( morning or late afternoon), as the side light makes the shapes easier to see. Further into the trail it becomes more a a typical narrower bush path. It passes a few nice beaches, a beautiful rock overhang and a small bunker. One you reach West Head Lookout, a trail takes you back to parking lot. Along the way, you have some nice views towards Pitt Water. I enjoyed this walk and the variety of scenery.

5 /5 Kim fc: I loved this walk. Its very steep with tonnes of steps but beautiful little spots to stop at on the way. A wonderful way to connect to Australias true history.

5 /5 Y Q: I was so excited to see the beach in the middle of the walk. The area was good for walking and it was a bit stable for the kids as well. The ticket for $8 for the day. Parking Toilet was clean
