5 /5 Adam Smith: Blackman Park is a combination of outdoor multi sport facilities synthetic and grass) as well as playgrounds, running/ bike paths, an enclosed dog park as well as natural bush areas which have bush walking trails which are easily accessible and not difficult to traverse.
The Lane Cove River is located behind the dog park areas, but there is limited access.
There is only one entrance into the complex by vehicle. On weekends, it can be difficult to get in or find parking if theres a sports event on due to the high volume of traffic. Off peak times, there are no issues with parking.
There are two playgrounds to keep the kids occupied, sandstone animals, and 2 outdoor gym areas located along the running track.
On weekends there is a canteen running to cater for sports. There is also the Puppy Tail Cafe situated in close proximity to the dog parks, which also sells dog treats.
