3 /5 Breyana: Nice spot but don’t try eat there. Two times we’ve tried for a picnic and the local kookaburra has continually swooped food from our hands mid bite and from the picnic. Had to relocate both times to be able to eat without being scratched by the birds.

5 /5 Minh Ngo: Beautiful location for a wedding - it is very weather dependent so make sure to have a backup option for inclement weather Its very easy to book online with NPWS Events National Parks - they will advise regarding all the specifics of the site. For our wedding it was a maximum of 100 guests, 40 rail style chairs, two allocated parking spots, and no confetti/flower petals. Parking here is limited and the tight roundabout will not accommodate limousines but will accommodate a regular Mercedes sprinter van quite nicely, so our party booked one vintage car for myself and my bride, and two sprinter vans for our wedding party.

While its an option, the routes arent as direct or frequent as you might hope, so you may need to plan your journey carefully. If you’re driving, it’s worth mentioning that the parking area is quite limited. During peak times, you might struggle to find a spot close by, which could mean parking further away and taking a bit of a walk to reach the main area. However, even with these minor inconveniences, the experience is more than worth it. The charm of this place far outweighs any small challenges you might encounter. Once youre there, the serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it easy to forget any hassle. Whether you’re spending the day exploring or just passing through, it’s a destination that leaves a lasting impression. Overall, it’s a place that I would highly recommend and one that I’m sure I’ll be returning to again and again. 5 /5 K A P: Inside the Sydney NP, just needed to pay for a parking fee which is $8 valid all day. Few parking spaces near the amphitheater but more inside the NP. Perfect for sunset viewing, NYE fireworks, wedding etc. Can swim and with good toilets. I believe no showers though. Watchout for the magpie/birds as they are very aggressive when they swoop for foods.
