Kelso Beach Reserve

Brenden Wood A great spot to come and sit beside the Georges River. There is limited off-road parking here. The water’s edge is located about 40 metres from the main road. There is a small fence between the riverside and the road. There is a large sports field across the road from this reserve.

Virginius Reserve

Lara McGinlay Great place for toddlers and older kids. An extensive bike track and nice bush walk. Bridges over small waterways to search for ducks from. Could do with a bit of a clean up though, however it is a storm water channel

Ridge walking track

Tracey Slater Second of the major Georges River National Park walks. More challenging and longer than Yeramba Lagoon Loop in the same park. There is a Steep rocky climb up to the ridge from where you can glimpse George’s River through the trees. Fairly close to roads, so you can hear them on your walk. Quite pretty but the landscape is the same through the whole walk. Equally sharp descent, so make sure you bring good knees. Found a tiny beach to eat a well deserved lunch at the end.
