2 /5 Duane P.: I usually avoid a negative write-up but for $50, which is above what I usually pay for haircuts, I felt compelled today. Vibe was unwelcoming with barely a greeting, a smile and lack of care onward. Asked for a mid skin-fade, got a high-fade. The cut felt rushed as soon as he finished fading. Although I told him I wanted to keep the length but would like it thinned out a tad and a “maintenance trim”, the bare minimum was done on top and not even an attempt to comb and style my hair and no product offered. I was not asked if I was happy with the cut nor shown the finished cut with a mirror. Just $50, wham, bam, thank you, sucker. I understand that inflation has hit all trades but as an operating business, just do better. Give the customer value for the rates you’re charging. I am honestly boggled by the perfect reviews here. Unsure whether the owner didn’t like the way I looked and/or maybe the owner was having a bad day?? Not sure but it shouldn’t matter. The rave Google reviews was why I took a chance. I’m a quiet person that doesn’t ask for much. I don’t expect a conversation during my cut, which was great here but unfortunately that’s all they had going for them during this first (and final) visit. Disappointed and ripped off.
