Catie T Had a fantastic experience getting a blow dry with Subin. Great attention to detail (and possibly the gentlest hair brushing I’ve ever experienced). Staff speak English but Subin even took the time to use Google Translate to explain her tips on maintaining my hairstyle in humid weather for my event tomorrow. Salon is slightly tricky to find but beautifully light-filled.

Bek Condello I had such a great experience with Nicola. I’d tried to do my blonde roots myself at home (which was obviously a bad idea), and she had to do a full colour correction to fix it. From the second I sat down, she just got what I was trying to achieve, and the result honestly turned out even better than I expected. She was so helpful and kind, made me feel totally at ease, and the whole process was quick and super affordable. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking going to a new salon, especially with blonde – it can go wrong so fast – but Nicola was incredible. If I lived in Sydney, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Louise Aherne Naz is an amazing . A few years ago I suddenly became allergic to hair dye and had a terrifying experience. As I could no longer use hair dye I needed to find a hairdresser who used natural products. I was so scared to get my hair coloured until I met Naz. She was so patient with me as I was so anxious. She is the first hairdresser that has been able to do my hair the way I like it. She also gives incredible head massages and is great fun. Highly recommend!

Kirsty Arnold I come here regularly and always feel that Nazz does a great job. She takes a lot of care and is honest about what your hair needs. She is also reasonably priced. I come out feeling so much better. The salon upstairs is also really good and I get my eyebrows done there at the same time.

Elizabeth Kuruvilla So happy with my experience at this salon! From the moment I arrived, Naz was so welcoming and friendly (and we ended up having the best conversation during my treatment!) I got a keratin treatment done, and was so happy with the results! My hair is naturally very curly, and can get quite frizzy in Sydneys unpredictable weather and humidity. The treatment drastically cut down drying/styling time, and my hair looked so shiny and sleek afterwards. I also didnt lose my natural curls, so was able to style my hair curly or straight as I pleased. Id highly recommend this salon to anyone - particularly if youre after an effective keratin treatment that doesnt damage your hair.

Duane P. I usually avoid a negative write-up but for $50, which is above what I usually pay for haircuts, I felt compelled today. Vibe was unwelcoming with barely a greeting, a smile and lack of care onward. Asked for a mid skin-fade, got a high-fade. The cut felt rushed as soon as he finished fading. Although I told him I wanted to keep the length but would like it thinned out a tad and a “maintenance trim”, the bare minimum was done on top and not even an attempt to comb and style my hair and no product offered. I was not asked if I was happy with the cut nor shown the finished cut with a mirror. Just $50, wham, bam, thank you, sucker. I understand that inflation has hit all trades but as an operating business, just do better. Give the customer value for the rates you’re charging. I am honestly boggled by the perfect reviews here. Unsure whether the owner didn’t like the way I looked and/or maybe the owner was having a bad day?? Not sure but it shouldn’t matter. The rave Google reviews was why I took a chance. I’m a quiet person that doesn’t ask for much. I don’t expect a conversation during my cut, which was great here but unfortunately that’s all they had going for them during this first (and final) visit. Disappointed and ripped off.

It was a excellent experience, from the moment you walk in you receive a warm welcome by their lovely staff, offered a beverage while you wait to have your hair washed and massaged. Great attention to detail, amazing music and the place smelled great. Kenneth is truly a master at his craft. He took the time to explain his process and even helped take a video on how he styled my hair after the cut. I then received some extra tips and info on scalp treatment from one of his knowledgeable staff. I felt completely taken care of and I walked out feeling fresh and content, ready for my wedding day! Noor Yeung I went there today wanted to color my hair and a bit of trimming as well. Asking the lady how much is the half head highlight, color and trimming. She said is about $250. I said it’s too expensive for me. ( normally I would go to calla for all those services for $130) I could only pay $150. And the lady her name is Sydney said okay if you are paying cash. I said okay. After she put the foil on me. When they ask me to wash my hair she told me, the price is not $150 is $180. I was like why??? She told me she is new. That price wasn’t including the toner. What a ripoff. She was trying to rip me after the owner Sunny and Sydney was talking in Korean. How outrageous!!!. Highly not recommended. So unprofessional. I was agreed before I sat down and now the price went up. The quality of her job is so bad. My highlight is uneven. Never come to this place again. Bad practice for a bad salon!!!

L H I came here for a walk-in haircut - I have long hair and my appointment was over in less than 15 minutes. My experience - I would describe this place as equivalent to ‘home brand’ and honestly the result is OKAY at best, but compared to other hairdressers for the same price - it is SUB-PAR. This place does the job but I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re desperate. Prices aren’t cheap - $55 for a cut without wash or blow dry. I have had a much better experience elsewhere for a similar prices. If you care about your hair cut experience and the overall result, don’t make the same mistake I did.

Jia bleached my hair 3 times over the weeks and she was very understanding of what my concern was. Im very happy with colour. It didnt even need tonner and it feels still healthy. Shrina Weasly Would not recommend this place at all! Hair damaged and had to get my hair fixed someone else for extra money! So terrible! Calls herself balayage expert but is far from it. I asked for balayages ( first picture show ) asked for only slight changes as I wanted alot of my own natural hair colour and didn’t want big changes. I was told you can’t just colour little but you need to colour more then she proceeds to colour my whole freaking head! I was blonde blonde apart from my root which is black ! You can imagine how this looks! And after 1-2 washes almost of my hair is turning orange. I went back asking her to fix it. Which she proceeds to blame me for colouring my hair previously with dye box! I told her I havent done that at all I went to professional hair dresser before her once in 10 years to get some highlights. She continue to blame me for box dying my hair and stated “ you hair is not orange it’s brown people come to me to get their hair colour like this” well I will let you be the judge if you really would go to her to get your hair colour like she did to me. She told me my only option is bleach again but there’s risk of all my hair falling off or the go darker but it will go back to orange colour again. Well what would you have done? She was not at all helpful. I do not recommend going to her at all if you care for your hair. She really damaged my hair so much I have to slowly recover my hair back to its health.
