4 /5 Luke Vadekar: Nice South/West facing viewpoint of the infamous Garigal National Park and the surrounding suburbs, such as St Ives, Belrose and Davidson.
The only downside is that you cant drive straight to the lookout.
You have to park at the gates and walk to the end of the road which takes about 10 minutes.
Its definitely worth the walk because the view is great.
Ive done astrophotography here and the skies are not that great. The Milky Way is definitely washed out and the light pollution is significantly bright in the south/west.
The light polluted night sky is rated at a Bortle 5.
Im probably one of the only photographers who would attempt night sky photography in light polluted areas such as this one, but i guess it was worth a go.
