5 /5 Barney Solomon: I love this little volunteer maintained park in the heart of the northern beaches. Its one of my favorite places to take a lunch break and have a quiet walk. I would think on the weekends it may get a little busy, but during the week it usually quiet and peaceful. The tracks are easy to navigate with lots of interesting plants. Theres a gaggle of brush turkeys that live there and theres a good chance youll be visited by a kookaburra or two if your having a bite to eat. Its always a couple of degrees cooler in the park amongst the trees in summer. Plenty of seating and there are bubblers and toilets. A great place to visit !

5 /5 Jade Anderson: this place is simply amazing. great for ALL kids, big and small!! you don’t have to be little to enjoy nature at its finest! honestly if you have not checked it out i highly recommend it. you can take lovely walks and learn about the flora and fauna, you can find a nice quiet spot to read or meditate... it’s like a mini oasis get away in the middle of suburbia...

5 /5 P G: A beloved secret sanctuary in the hub of Dee Why. One that we all need, and one that we need to protect. Always a pleasure to visit, and to leave refreshed and healed. A place for kids and parents, meditators and wanderers. Soothing for the soul. Well-managed by a dedicated group of volunteers, this reserve was saved from an abandoned quarry which is now a priceless gem of green space that gives back to the community by merely existing. Paths meander so youre never bored and increase private contemplation. Some are accessible by wheelchair or pram, offering respite for all members of the community. Bush turkeys, kookaburras, blue tongues, magpies, native mynas, lorikeets and more native animals call this place their home. Huge old trees, spirit giants look upon the grounds. Its such a magical place to enjoy and cherish. Its free to enter, so do pop in a hold coin or a donation to keep the place going. Thank you to all the volunteers for letting us enjoy this beautiful reserve in all its majesty.

5 /5 Alexander Ercegovic: This is only a small botanical garden containing a rainforest and temperate bush section. There are many ferns, gums, ground dwelling orchids and other natives. It is very kid friendly as the walks are all easy and not long. Lots of little places to stop and the trees and plants numbered and documented.

5 /5 Holly Riddington: Visited on a rainy Sunday and was lucky enough to have the place to myself. The smells, meandering tracks and informative signs made for a lovely evening walk.
