5 /5 Lynne Turner: Easy & interesting walking trails. Whale rock, cockatoos, rosellas, beautiful trees and a creek. Nice and quiet, a beautiful quick getaway from the hustle bustle.
5 /5 Johnny Phanny: Went down the trail only short walk, was very hot and smokey day due to fires nearby. On the way back its very steep. Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, clothing thats not fully black colored as it will attract a lot of heat. Please be safe everyone on hot days, if youre not feeling ok, keep it short.
4 /5 Ann Jiwie: The trail was a lovely walk, it had loads of street parking so travelling by car was not an issue.
Trails were clearly laid out and easy to walk in most parts, with maps and signs for people to follow. The whale rock is still in intact and amazing to look out from a far. Perfect place for pictures!
Although there were some issues with the trail for example; there were a lot of flooded areas that needed to be taken with an alternative path on the sides of the walkway. Recommend to bring waterproof shoes or a towel to get past if you want to stay dry.
A sewage system was also nearby, making some areas have an awful stench. Luckily only if you travel in further. If you only came to see the famous whale rock attraction you wouldn’t have to deal with the foul smelling areas.
Other than that it is a short one way trail from point A to point B, but it does connect to The Great North Walk, if you are looking for a challenging moderate hike this is the place to visit!
4 /5 Kelly Wei: We start our bush walk from Ron Payne park, a bit steep in the first 20mins for 3 years old little boy. Then we see the beautiful creek and the nature on a more flat road. Nice and quite. Both adventure and enjoyment.
5 /5 Syd Rev: This is a part of the Lane Cove Park and the trails are well maintained. It is a blessing to have parks like this in the area where you can go into the woods and enjoy trees and creeks.
Sam “SS” This was breathtaking. You must visit after alot of rain to get the best experience.
Best thing about this location is you dont need to walk far to find it, its about 1 minute walk from where I parked that was at the entrance. So if you just want to enjoy the waterfall without the hike this is definitely the place to visit.
Natalie Molluso Nice open space, great for exercising ... just wish the council would spray for bindis in Spring literally the entire area is covered cant even walk the dog through

Jeannie Yu Beautiful playgrounds surrounded by bamboos. Toilets are clean and accessible. It has a basketball court and a scooter court, very quiet and friendly neighbourhood.
Fahd Rasul Its a nice little park ideal for birthdays as it offers a bit more privacy due to its hidden location and fence around it. Also it is well maintained by the council. Very clean and people take good care is cleaning themselves up after parties. Only downside are the pets as pet owners dont clean after their pets have taken care of their business which is irritating.
Jack Lee The only pedestrian overpass connects both sides of the road, and the school is located next to the overpass. There are lifts on both sides of the overpass for the convenience of pedestrians. The overpass is also the highest point on Carlingford Road, where you can overlook the surrounding scenery.
The only pedestrian bridge connects the two sides of the road, and the school is located next to the bridge. There are elevators on both sides of the overpass for the convenience of pedestrians.
