Jade Wirth I’ve been coming to Rumours for nearly 5 years now. I’ve followed them from one venue to another even though it’s further away because the service is worth it! I’ve never not been happy with my colour. The staff are lovely. I’ve had lots of hairdressers there over the years but I’ve been seeing Marnie now for over 12 months and she really is the best in the business! I just sit and work away on my laptop and off they go. Plus, snacks!?!

Emma Jones Just had a cut and colour here and feel like a million bucks—and not just because of my shiny new do. The stylists are super friendly, attentive and talented. Not pushy with the up-sells, which I really appreciated. The salon is a vibe...clean and relaxed with great tunes and great people.

Kylie Adams This is my 4th visit at this Salon seeing Lauren every time and I always leave feeling great! She takes the time to listen to what I’m after and nails it everytime! The whole salon experience is great, from the first booking getting a consult via the phone and the follow up is so professional. I appreciate the help in getting me appointments that work around the kids! The booking system is so easy and have always been on time when I visit. Within the salon the experience is so relaxing with a great range of drinks and nibbles to get you through. Well done to management, you are doing an amazing job with this salon.

Salomi Singh If you are a person of colour do not go here. If you have textured hair this is not the place for you, they do not understand how to treat textured hair.I had specified to the stylist that I didn’t want any layer to be shorter than my existing from hair. I had told her I wanted to get a blunt cut in the future once my hair had grown out a bit more. The stylist confirmed that she understood that but proceeded to cut my hair into much shorter layers.
When I went back they completely deflected the issues and blamed it on the side part and thickness of my hair and asking for a picture of what I wanted (when I went to get it fixed).
How does any of that matter When I specifically said I didn’t want any hair to shorter than my existing front pices of hair.
I had to cut my hair even shorter to get a bit closer to the look I wanted. I have to wait a year to let my hair grow out. The worst part was the denial, lack accountability or apology.
Edit - they did not repeatedly call me, they called exactly twice. I havent gotten a single call back since yesterday after me having called them back several times. They were the ones who cut the call. This has already been a terrible customer service experience, I cant explain to them their micro aggressions and deflective tactics, twisting everything you are saying to fit their narrative and conveniently leave out details that doesnt align with them. They will just straight up lie to protect themselves. Simply saying you are an inclusive safe space doesnt make you one.
