Anne I searched websites and came upon Kat and Karen at Efflorescence Beauty. The salon has absolutely everything...hair dressing, waxing (ouch) pedicures and manicures oh and a loo. What more does a woman want? The work on my broken nails by Kat is nothing short of brilliant. Thank you for bringing them back to normal. It was heaven to have my nails done again. Tascha Goh OMG, one of the best facials I ave ever had. They really focus on the massage element. So every cream they put on they’ll give a nice light facial massage. And they give you a great neck, shoulder and décolletage area. And they really make u feel comfortable with a blanket and smoothing music.

It’s hard to trust people with waxing, especially eyebrows, but they truly do an amazing job! Very professional but quick also! Ervinot Kana the recepcionistwas not friendly at all maybe because I am Asian, ordered a one hour hot stone massage. the woman who provided the service put too much oil on it and when doing the massage it only applied too gently and only rubbed when I asked to apply a little pressure only gave a little, when you come for the massage it means your body has a lot of pressure on your body if you just rub I dont have to pay 115$ per hour, just a waste of your time and money.

Helen Charge Very caring and compassionate staff. My colonic experience was difficult but Clarissa was amazing and transformed my session right around so that it was almost enjoyable! I also had Chinese medicine with Lee who was also very compassionate with my fragile state. Left feeling so much better. Thank you both so very much.

Doula Dee Finnegan I wish they had been upfront and said that they are not very experienced in French manicure. The young girls technique was poor so the tips were thick white and not fine and even. They files previous gell down and damaged my nail rather than take the previous gel off they painted over what was left on which of course made the nail bed thicker than natural looking. The manager seemed to want to fix the issue. The girl said my fingers were crooked and thats why she painted crooked. (How come I walked in with a straight (but grown out) French tips from a different place?) The manager himself filed my nails again but this was his way of trying to fix her dull edges and in doing what he did, my nails are growing out breaking across the nail bed. Undee nails are actually quite sore now, beginning at the edges. I would have preferred a refund rather than the redo where I am now in pain with about 8 weeks at least to grow out the damage caused by the filing of my nail sides into the nail bed itself. For a simple paint of nails maybe its good. But if you want French tips DONT do it. And definitely dont let them try and fix a problem they they created in the first place and it wont be good.

Sarah 12 I had my SNS removed and put back on this morning. The lady who did my nails really took her time to perfect them. I have tried many salons around the peninsula and she has definitely done the best job. I definitely recommend and will be returning :)

Trudi Wooley When you try and give a local business feedback so they can ensure that the safety of others are not compromised and their health is not effected and they disagree with you and argue with you throughout the whole conversation it’s sad. I have a nail infection on all of my fingers which was contracted from this business. I have not been to another salon and the owner is aware of this. I would ask that anybody in the future ask a nail technician to demonstrate that they are cleaning the tools in front of you before they begin on your nails, this is all I wanted to get across to the owner but he totally ignored me and fought me on everything, I will never return. I know for a fact that nail infections have happened in the salon before beware. My intention was to give feedback to improve practices to make others safe, the owner to acknowledge the mistake and take ownership. A business owner who doesn’t hear feedback is someone that doesn’t have their customer’s best interest at heart. He even charged me to remove them. If acknowledgment occurred and an apology without charge, including a change in practice, this review would not happen.

Mart Dont trust the positive google reviews. The fact that there were no customers at 3pm on a Friday while the salon nearby was full should have been a red flag! The lady doing my nails nicked my toes multiple times while removing my cuticles using a machine (shouldnt it be done gently with a tool?). Then I had to ask her to fix up her work (missed bits of skin around the nail) and gave a pathetic massage. The hands were worse, the nail polish was patchy, bubbly and her hair touched my wet nails multiple times. I had to ask her to go over it multiple times. At the end she filed down my nails again around the edges, surely thats not how its done? I was pissed but as a visitor to the town I decided to just leave it. Turns out my friends nails were butchered as well. Now, 4 days later one of my nails chipped of and its lifting. Ive never had such bad shellac. The skin around my nails is also very inflamed. What a waste of $100. Avoid at all cost.

Natalie Robinson Came here on holidays for a spa pedicure. Best nail salon I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot). The staff were great, everything was immaculately clean, the service was top notch and the whole place was run really efficiently even though they were extremely busy. I liked that the staff had comfortable-looking stools with proper back support too, an indication that the business values their staff.
