Kim R Not very happy with service. First, my appointment ran late, my daughters ear piercing didnt get done until 45 minutes after the time of the appointment so I ran very late for my next commitment. Strangely I wasnt acknowledged while sitting and waiting but the other customer that came in after me did. Im pretty sure the staff member saw me come in and wait first. They also got to go in before me as well. I did get served eventually after going up to the till. Maybe I am of different ethnicity? (I tried not to think much of it at the time.)
The piercing on the right ear was a little high and I did ask about that but the staff member didnt think it should be lower. I only came to realise afterwards, they should have measured it, like other places do. So Im very annoyed about that. Its slightly too high, I am hoping it wont be noticeable now.
My daughter was already nervous so the long wait just did not help with the pain of it. They didnt have many earrings on display in stock, didnt have the backpack and bear that was advertised but thats ok, we were told we could come back for it.
Also I was underquoted on the phone. They quoted me single assistant, when they even suggested having two people to do it at the same time. Wasnt told about the Sunday surcharge either.
Didnt know my daughter would need to miss two weeks of her swimming lessons too! Mentioning aftercare straight up at the start wouldve been helpful.
The staff were friendly once I got served. A few of these things could be easily overlooked but the string of too many mishaps has made it an unpleasant experience unfortunately. I recommend Lovisa for ear piercing, wish I went with the other friends recommendation!
