Highly recommended for a more practical /healthier choice than medications. Currently my 14 yr old has been attending 4+ months and her turn around with acne has been excellent. I used to get nail technicians who were really rough and would burn my nail bed with the drill but Lily is great! Must have a booking to go in but you get the slot to yourself. Lily is very friendly and talkative which is great as a lot of nail technicians I’ve had in the past don’t make much conversation.

Sath Nithi I got a manicure and a pedicure today. The ladies who did the job were excellent and I would have given five stars. However the man in charge was rude. My pedicure hadn’t dried and he literally picked my feet and put it in my sandles and said it was fine. The toes are smudged. It wasn’t busy either so there was really no need to chase me out. I wouldn’t go back if that man was there.

To my surprise, I didn’t need them redone at all. Jess simply put a sterilized pin through my piercings, and they were good to go! The whole process took less than five minutes. I’m so grateful she didn’t take advantage of the situation like most places would, making me pay for a redo just for the sake of it. Jess is so knowledgeable and truly an asset to the team. N H Terrible Experience – Avoid This Clinic I spent nine months going back and forth with the manager to fix a botched lip filler procedure. They ignored calls and texts. When I did get a hold of them they made me come in ten seperate times promising to fix it that day only to send me away without a solution, and repeatedly gave me false promises that they were "working on it." After all that, on the last time I was made to come in, they offered a 50% discount on more filler to correct the asymmetry—which a consult video call with their own doctor confirmed. But when I agreed, the nurse left the room and came back having suddenly changed her mind and refused treatment. Their only "solutions" involved me paying more money for their mistakes, and even when I agreed, they still refused to fix it. I went to another clinic for a second opinion, and they confirmed my filler was poorly done but easily fixable. This clinic wasted months of my time, refused to take responsibility, and lacked professionalism. Save yourself the frustration—go anywhere else but here.

Ranjana Dutta We have been regular customers for the last 2 years and have been happy until now. The Google page shows that they close at 9pm but we still thought of calling them before we went there. We were told by the lady on the phone (not the owner) that they close at 8pm. Fair enough, we said we could reach by 7:50 pm at the earliest, and asked if they would would be able to service us? She enquired if we were regulars to which we responded that we are. We offered to come in another day, but she said the girls working there will be informed that we will reach around that time and that they would service us.We rushed there exactly at 7:50pm, shutters were closed. We tell them that we were informed to come in and that we could get the service. SUKHJIT (bad manners and rude) told us that we should allow them to go home and that they are closed. We do understand that it was their shift was ending, and the only reason we had come in at all was due to the lady on the phone informing us that we could get there at 7:50pm. Funny how she sounded as if we were holding her hostage, when all we did was listen to the instructions provided to us over the phone. Very poor co-ordination amongst the staff members, Sukhman tells us to keep calling the number repeatedly, but no one answered our calls, although we could hear conversations amongst themselves on the phone as we were kept waiting. There was zero accountability on their part as a business, and instead were passing blame onto one another. If Manpreet (the owner) was there, I am sure she would have handled this better. We were told that she is overseas. Manpreet, please hire people with better customer service. Sukhjit is a shame!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING BEHAVIOUR. Kim R Not very happy with service. First, my appointment ran late, my daughters ear piercing didnt get done until 45 minutes after the time of the appointment so I ran very late for my next commitment. Strangely I wasnt acknowledged while sitting and waiting but the other customer that came in after me did. Im pretty sure the staff member saw me come in and wait first. They also got to go in before me as well. I did get served eventually after going up to the till. Maybe I am of different ethnicity? (I tried not to think much of it at the time.) The piercing on the right ear was a little high and I did ask about that but the staff member didnt think it should be lower. I only came to realise afterwards, they should have measured it, like other places do. So Im very annoyed about that. Its slightly too high, I am hoping it wont be noticeable now. My daughter was already nervous so the long wait just did not help with the pain of it. They didnt have many earrings on display in stock, didnt have the backpack and bear that was advertised but thats ok, we were told we could come back for it. Also I was underquoted on the phone. They quoted me single assistant, when they even suggested having two people to do it at the same time. Wasnt told about the Sunday surcharge either. Didnt know my daughter would need to miss two weeks of her swimming lessons too! Mentioning aftercare straight up at the start wouldve been helpful. The staff were friendly once I got served. A few of these things could be easily overlooked but the string of too many mishaps has made it an unpleasant experience unfortunately. I recommend Lovisa for ear piercing, wish I went with the other friends recommendation!

Bo Bella (BB) ***updated post 30 May*** Since lodging this with consumer affairs the head office have now refunded me the duplicated payment. Please note that this experience seems to have nothing to do with the Knox franchisee, but the head office. Strongly recommend avoiding booking online however. - This has to be the dodgiest retail experience I’ve ever had. Booked brow lamination and a small booking fee was taken off my card. I then paid for the service in store ($80) only to find they charged me twice, by taking the remaining $78 from my account (via the booking platform). I’ve since contacted head office and even went back to the store - only to be told they can’t refund the money until they ‘figure out what’s happened’. I’ve had to raise a dispute via my bank and pending that outcome, contact consumer affairs. I don’t know how any business can do this & not immediately refund the customer for the duplicated payment while they sort out their back end issues. I actually cannot believe I’ve paid $160 for a 20 min brow lamination.

Chloe Pudsey I got my nails done here once before and had a sns French tip. The man who did my nails put in a lot of effort but after being rushed to do someone else he messed up at the end and told me I was done and I had to get my mum to ask the manager to fix it. I have level 2 autism that comes with a severe anxiety disorder and when the nail techs seem rushed and annoyed I will automatically submit and say it’s fine when it’s not. I came back with high hopes as my last manicure was decent but this time I was sorely disappointed. The lady who did my nails rushed. She got the gel on my skin that burned. And she didn’t understand me at all. She asked what colour and I said pink three times. She made me feel like I was a pain in her ass for getting my nails done. She filed them terribly, my thumb is the most noticeable. And as someone with severe anxiety and felt as though I was being rushed and ruining this persons day I went into panic mode and just nodded to everything she said. When they said the price my jaw fell to the floor! But again anxiety I just paid and left. Trying to convince myself nothing was wrong until my sister pointed out the obvious. I was scammed! All I got was a cat eye gel on natural nails. And they charged me $75. I would be less mad if it was a decent job but it’s not. It could be worse I know but for that amount of money these days and for some gel!? She didn’t even make it a cat eye it’s just metallic shimmer. Not to mention she failed to apply it right it’s got holes at the end where the brush didn’t go over the end of my nail. I am very upset. Never coming back…and I’m sure this place has some great nail techs but I’m sorry. This ruined it for me… Update: three days later it’s chipped on my thumb were she failed to paint the end right and is peeling off

ALANA Absolutely love this place. Today I had Henry (my regular nail technician) do my refills, giving my nails a new shape with shellac and helping me choose a colour as I wanted something different from my go-to colours and Lee who did my pedicure, best pedicure Ive had from there. Both Henry and Lee were great at communicating and gave me the result I was looking for. This has been my regular for almost 2 years now, and I wouldnt go anywhere else! I love the fact that they both spoke English throughout my entire visit (unlike some other nail places Ive been too, where I have found it somewhat uncomfortable) I highly recommend this place!!!

Samara Got my upper lip and eyebrows waxed today. Lady was not well presented in work attire, did not look professional plus when she ripped of the wax from my upper lips, my lips almost come off too, it was horrible then she left wax still on my face!! Eyebrows were not done properly either!

Natalya S One star doesnt even begin to describe the experience I had at this salon. It was my second time at this salon, two weeks earlier she quoted me $70 for acrylics no design. I asked for acrylics with a design and we agreed on $120. The owner of the Salon who served did not tell me there was any wait time as the salon was empty. After filing and shaping my nails she served two other customers which walked in and had a supposed booking- she said she would be back shortly. A whole hour passed before she even got back to me, I was not happy with the wait. Then I told her to just simplify the design and she charged me $80 for just plain acrylics with a nude colour. She rushed the filing and painting, then I over-heard the customer she served before me paid $75 with design and extensions. While I was charged extra for plain nails. I will never go back, She has just lost a valuable customer.

Radhika C I dont like leaving negative reviews out in public but after the experience I have had in the knox-beauty & brow (level 2 , near Smiggle), I d rate them 0 if I could. I have been to their outlets a lot and i have been threading my brows for years now. However, the lady who did it today was so rough. It was so painful I found it hard to sit through. She left me with small cuts and red-angry bumps AND uneven left and right brows. When asked to clean up, she said Ill be charged more cos that means a re-shape. All i wanted was remove extras and keep both brows alike - not "Re-shape". I have written to the head office a grievance but I am never coming back to this store after this painful experience.

They told me its because of my base nails and i chose normal nail polish not shellac 2. He told me the price without showing a price list. He took his phone to check and didnt even show me. (No price displays, against ACCC) FYI $40 for polish, $50 for shellac 3. I spoke to them after I saw the nails not to satisfaction, and they also realised it was grainy and bubbly and did not reapply, just put a top coat to resolve the issue. I dont often do my nails, so I wasnt too sure and asked for their advice. The manager/person in charge asked if I washed my hands, yes I did. But the polish is bubbly. After that I was left alone until I walked off myself to pay. (While doing my manicure, I remember they just filed it with an electric filer and did not buffer or make sure there was no debris before continuing to put on a coating.) Let me know if im wrong.

Emily Laura I used to come here fortnightly and stopped for months to give my nails a break. Not worth going back as the attention to detail is lacking. Ripples and bubbles in my chrome nails and you can tell they hope you dont notice as theyre continuing completing the set. The lady fixed a bad one for me after I said something. Came back the next day for a pedicure. Unfortunately I shouldve looked closer at the result in the salon as theyve left a blue stain from the spa water on my toe and nail, havent cut or shaped my toenails properly and didnt fully paint the nails. I had asked her not to cut the side of my big toes only due to being prone to ingrown nails which I explained. But it looks like she was too scared to cut the others properly as they are uneven. Considering I spent $110 on my hands (manicure, sns with tips and chrome finish) and $65 on my pedicure its just not worth it. Also its hilarious to be told theres a cash discount when I get my hands done and then be charged full price the next day for my pedicure when paying with cash... Will be finding a new go-to salon for my Xmas and event nails. Ive got dip powder at home I can just use myself, so if Im going to pay someone to do the same service I can do (with absolutely no training lol) I expect high quality from the professionals. Steer clear.

Charli Maurovic I don’t see how people are having bad experiences… the first set I got was perfect and lasted over a month through heaps of vigorous work and activities where I’m sure other salons’ would have broken.. and this set is absolutely gorgeous. Vivian put so much effort and care into the shape and art. This is the only nail salon where I’ve walked out feeling 100% happy!
